Somaskanda Murthy on Tiruchi Vahanam at Sri Kapileswara Swamy Vari Temple

On the ninth day of the annual Brahmotsavams at the Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple, Sri Kamakshi Sameta Sri Somaskanda Murthy blessed devotees on the Tiruchi Vahanam on Monday night.

The Vahana Seva was taken out in a grand procession through the temple streets amid devotional bhajans, kolatams by bhajana mandalis, and the rhythmic sounds of traditional mangala vadyams. 

Devotees participated in large numbers and offered camphor haratis with devotion.

According to temple tradition, devotees who have darshan of Lord Kapileswara Swamy on the Tiruchi Vahanam during the Brahmotsavams are believed to have their wishes fulfilled.

Earlier, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the Kalyana Mahotsavam of Sri Kamakshi Sameta Kapileswara Swamy was performed with grandeur. A large number of devotees participated in the celestial wedding ceremony. 

Householders who took part in the Kalyanotsavam were presented with laddu prasadam as a blessing.

Foreign devotees from Russia keenly witnessed the cultural programmes organized on the occasion and expressed their happiness.

Temple Superintendent Sri Chandrasekhar, other officials, temple archakas, and a large number of devotees participated in the programme.
