Special Festivals Scheduled in Mach at Sri Govinda Raja Swamy Vari Temple

The following special festivals and events are scheduled to be observed during the month of March at the Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple, Tirupati:

On March 5, on the occasion of Uttara Nakshatram, Sri Govindaraja Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi will bless devotees with a procession along the four Mada Streets.

On March 6, 13 and 20 (Fridays), Sri Andal Ammavaru will be taken in procession along the Mada Streets at 6:00 PM.

On March 15, on the occasion of Sravanam Nakshatram, Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi will be taken in procession along the four Mada Streets at 6:00 PM.

On March 16, Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam will be performed in the temple in connection with Ugadi.

On March 19, Ugadi Asthanam will be held in the temple.

On March 24, on the occasion of Rohini Nakshatram, Sri Parthasarathy Swamy along with Rukmini and Satyabhama will bless devotees with a procession along the four Mada Streets at 6:00 PM.

The annual Panguni Uttaram Festival will be observed from March 26 to April 1.

Sri Rama Navami will be celebrated on March 27.

On March 3, the temple will remain closed in view of the Lunar Eclipse.
