Sri Somaskhanda Murthy Rides Purushamruga Vahanam

As part of the annual Brahmotsavams at the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams-run Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple, Sri Somaskanda Murthy along with Goddess Kamakshi blessed devotees on the Purushamruga Vahanam on Monday morning, marking the ninth day of the festivities.

The Vahana Seva was taken out in the temple streets amidst devotional fervour.

Earlier, Lingodbhava Kala Abhishekam was performed from 12 midnight to 4 am. After Suprabhatam, Abhishekam was conducted to the deity. 

Sarva Darshan for devotees commenced from 8am.

Later, Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed as per Agama traditions from 11am. 

Temple Superintendent Sri Chandrasekhar, temple priests, officials and a large number of devotees participated in the programme.
