The Joint Executive Officer (JEO) of TTD, Sri V. Veerabrahmam, has directed officials to complete all arrangements by March 30 for the Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam Mahotsavam, scheduled to be held on April 1 as part of the annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple at Vontimitta.
On Monday, the JEO, along with officials, conducted extensive inspections of the temple surroundings and the Kalyana Vedika.
During the inspection, he reviewed the four Mada streets, queue lines, Yagasala, temple kitchen (Potu), and cultural stage. He instructed officials to take preventive measures to ensure that devotees do not face any inconvenience. Considering the summer heat, he ordered the installation of German sheds in the temple premises, expansion of drinking water facilities, and arrangements to provide a cool and comfortable environment for devotees.
He also directed officials to enhance the spiritual ambiance of the festivities by installing laser lighting and LED decorations. Special floral decorations should be arranged in the temple to create a pleasant atmosphere for visiting devotees.
Later, the JEO inspected the Annaprasadam building and expressed satisfaction over the quality of food being served to devotees. He also interacted directly with devotees to gather their feedback.
He reviewed the ongoing development works at the Kalyana Vedika, prasadam distribution centers, queue lines, galleries, and entry-exit routes, and provided several suggestions. Emphasizing sanitation, he instructed the officials to arrange sufficient toilets and deploy additional staff.
He suggested organizing devotional music programs reflecting the significance of Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam. Floral decorations at the Kalyana Vedika should highlight Telugu cultural essence.
He instructed CPRO Dr. T.Ravi to ensure adequate deployment of Srivari Sevaks in the temple, queue lines, Annaprasadam distribution centers, and galleries. He also directed Annaprasadam Special Officer Sri Sastri to distribute Vadapappu and Panakam to every devotee on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami.
