Chakrasnanam of Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy Varu at Kapila Theertham Marks Grand Conclusion of Brahmotsavams









The annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Kodandarama Swamy in Tirupati concluded on a grand and devotional note on Wednesday with the sacred Chakrasnanam performed at the Kapila Theertham Pushkarini. A large number of devotees participated in the holy event and took the sacred bath.


Earlier, at 7:30 AM, Sri Sita Rama Lakshmana Swamy were taken in a palanquin procession to Kapila Theertham. Later, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed ceremoniously to the Utsava deities at the Sri Venugopala Swamy Temple mandapam.


On this occasion, along with Sita, Rama, and Lakshmana, Chakrathalwar received sacred ablutions with milk, curd, coconut water, turmeric, and sandalwood, blessing the devotees. Subsequently, priests conducted the Chakrasnanam as per scriptural traditions amidst Vedic chanting.


At 11:00 AM, the deities proceeded from Alwar Theertham to the P.R. Thota. In the evening, they will return to Sri Kodandarama Temple via Theerthakatta Street, Kotakommala Street, and Kothaveedhi. En route, Asthanam will be conducted at Sri Anjaneya Swamy Temple and Sri Vaikhanasacharya Temple.


The Brahmotsavams will conclude with Dwajavarohanam scheduled between 8:30 PM and 9:30 PM.
