In view of the upcoming Sri Tumburu Theertha Mukkoti scheduled on March 31 and April 1, a review meeting was held on Monday by TTD Additional EO Sri Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary at the Sudharma Meeting Hall in Padmavathi Rest House in Tirumala, to assess the arrangements for devotees.
Key Highlights of the Meeting:
- Devotees will be allowed to visit Tumburu Theertham from 6 AM to 10AM only on March 31 and April 01.
- Breakfast, Annaprasadam, and drinking water will be provided to devotees at Papavinasanam Dam utilizing the services of over 100 sevaks on each day.
- First aid centers, ambulances, medicines, paramedical staff will be deployed.
- As the trek involves walking a considerable distance, aged people, children below 12years and those with heart ailments, respiratory issues, chronic diseases or obesity are advised not to undertake the torrent trekking.
- Devotees are requested not to carry cooking materials, camphor, or match boxes.
- Tight security arrangements will be in place with coordination among the Police Department, Forest Department, and TTD Vigilance Wing from Papavinasanam to Tumburu Theertham.
- Signage boards will be installed along the route for guidance.
- To manage traffic congestion, only APSRTC buses will be allowed from Gogarbham Dam Circle to Papavinasanam, and private vehicles will not be permitted.
TTD requests all devotees to cooperate and adhere to these guidelines for a safe and smooth pilgrimage.
