Special Festivals at Sri Kodandarama Swamy Vari Temple in May 2026

Various special festivals will be observed at Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple in Tirupati during the month of May.

On May 1 and 31 (Poornima), Ashtottara Shatakalasabhishekam will be performed at 9:30 AM. In the evening at 5:30 PM, Sri Kodandarama Swamy along with Sita and Lakshmana will take a procession in the four Mada streets.

On May 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30 (Saturdays), Abhishekam to the main deities will be performed at 6:00 AM. In the evening at 5:00 PM, the utsava deities will be taken in a procession followed by Unjal Seva in the temple.

On May 8, Asthanam of Sri Kodandarama Swamy will be held at 8:00 AM at Annamacharya Kalamandiram.

Hanuman Jayanti will be observed on May 12.

On May 16 (Amavasya), Sahasra Kalasabhishekam will be performed at 8:30 AM. Hanumantha Vahana Seva will be held at 7:00 PM.

On May 21 (Punarvasu Nakshatram), Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam will be conducted at 11:00 AM.
