The annual Rathotsavam of Sri Narapura Venkateswara Swamy Temple was held grandly on Thursday as part of the annual Brahmotsavams. The deity was taken in a majestic chariot procession through the temple streets amid Govinda chants, bhajans and devotional fervour.
Devotees enthusiastically participated in pulling the sacred chariot and offered prayers with devotion. Spiritual scholars explained the significance of Rathotsavam and its message of spiritual awakening.
Later in the evening, the deity will bless devotees on the Ashwa Vahanam procession.
TTD Deputy EO Smt. A. Prasanthi, Superintendent Sri Hanumanthaiah, priests, officials and a large number of devotees participated in the event.
