Sri Govindaraja Swamy Varu Blesses Devotees on Surya Prabha Vahanam

On the seventh day of the annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple in Tirupati, the Lord blessed devotees on Surya Prabha Vahanam on Friday morning, radiating divine brilliance symbolising the glory of the Sun God.

The Vahana Seva was held from 7 AM to 9 AM amid devotional fervour with Chekka Bhajans, Kolatam performances, Kerala drum troupes and Mangala Vadyams. Devotees offered Harathis and chanted “Govinda” throughout the procession.

Later, Snapana Tirumanjanam to Sri Govindaraja Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi was performed from 10 AM to 11 AM with milk, curd, honey, sandal paste and fruit juices.

Unjal Seva will be held from 5.30 PM to 6 PM, followed by Chandra Prabha Vahanam from 7 PM to 9 PM.

The grand Rathotsavam will be conducted on May 30 at 5.40 AM.

TTD officials, temple priests and a large number of devotees participated in the Vahana Seva.
