SRINIVASA MANGAPURAM VASANTHOTSAVAMS BEGIN AMID GOVINDA CHANTS GRAND GOLDEN CHARIOT FESTIVAL ON MAY 8

The annual Vasanthotsavams commenced grandly on Thursday at Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple amid Govinda namasmarana and devotional fervour.

Malayappa Swamy along with His consorts was taken to the Vasantha Mandapam, while devotees participated in large numbers. Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed with milk, curd, honey, sandal paste and flowers as per Vaikhanasa Agama traditions.

Special cultural programmes are also being organised during the three-day festival.

The much-awaited Swarna Rathotsavam will be held grandly on May 08 at 6 pm, when the deity will bless devotees on the golden chariot along the temple mada streets.
