SRIVARI SWARNA RATHOTSAVAM MESMERISES DEVOTEES

The grand Swarna Rathotsavam of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple was held with religious fervour on Friday evening as part of the annual Vasanthotsavams.

Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi blessed devotees while taking a procession on the glittering golden chariot around the four mada streets of the temple. Large numbers of women devotees participated enthusiastically and pulled the chariot amid Govinda chants, Vedic hymns and Mangala Vadyams.

Earlier in the day, Suprabhatham, Thomala, Koluvu, Panchanga Sravanam, Sahasranamarchana and Snapana Tirumanjanam were performed to the deities.

Deputy EO Smt. Varalakshmi, Superintendent Sri Raj Kumar, Temple Inspectors Sri Muni Kumar and Sri Dhanasekhar, engineering officials and a large number of devotees participated in the event.
