As the two month long summer vacation is ending soon, with a busy weekend, Tirumala has witnessed over 2,42,894 footfall in the last three days.
TTD maintained uninterrupted services and continuous monitoring to ensure hassle free darshan to its devotees who thronged from different parts of the country.
Under the instructions of Higher Authorities, the TTD Senior officers and Heads of various departments including Deputy EOs Sri Lokanatham, Sri Rajendra, Sri Somannarayana, Sri Bhaskar, Sri Ramakant, CPRO Dr. T. Ravi, Aswini Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. Subba Reddy, VGO Sri Surendra continuously monitored the services along with the team.
Annaprasadam :
Exclusive 29 points have been set up with four Srivari Sevaks per point to provide meals and refreshments to the devotees waiting in outside serpentine queue lines.
Engineering :
37 drinking-water taps (from Gate No. 69 to Gate No. 1) have been set up besides permanent and temporary toilets.
Sanitation:
The Health department of TTD has set up 49 water drums (two sevaks for each drum)
Permanent and temporary toilets are cleaned regularly and waste was being cleared promptly.
Queue Blocks:
Ensuring pilgrim safety, devotees were allowed in a systematic way in outside lines starting from Octopus circle.
29 additional queue blocks (Bata Gangamma Gudi Circle to Pachikalva Gangamma Gudi Circle)were established, to hold around 150 devotees per block.
Each block is guarded by two Srivari Sevaks and one security guard holding ropes and devotees are being allowed systatically.
Other departments including Potu, Transport have also discharged their respective duties round the clock.
TTD officials and staff continue round-the-clock monitoring to ensure devotees’ comfort.
