Somesh Kumar,IAS., Chief Secretary to Govt.of TS flagged off Train carrying migrant workers at Nampally Railway Station




Chief Secretary Sri Somesh Kumar,IAS., today flagged off trains carrying migrant workers from Nampally railway station today.  Later speaking to newsmen, he said that 88 trains have so far transported 1.22 lakh migrant workers from various stations in the state.  While 6 trains are leaving from Nampally today, another 40 trains are leaving from other stations for different states.  By midnight all the trains would leave and around fifty thousand workers would be transported to different destinations, he added.  The railways are providing food to the migrant workers.  The state government is arranging two food packets and three litres of drinking water and fruits for each migrant worker.  He congratulated the police, and other department officials for  effective coordination and monitoring of such a stupendous task.  He said that most of the migrant workers who have registered with the state government have left by today and most of them have also expressed their desire to come back to the state again.
DGP Mahender Reddy  observed that the migrant workers are part of the reconstruction process of the state.  He felt that sending the migrant workers to their respective hometowns safely and conveniently in a dignified atmosphere is a goodwill gesture by the state government.
Additional DG Jitender, Principal Secretary Municipal Administration Arvind Kumar,  GHMC Commissioner Lokesh Kumar, Secretary  PR & RD Sandeep Kumar Sultania, Secretary Finance Ronald Ross, Ranga Reddy Joint Collector Harish and other officials were present on the occasion.

Aadi Saikumar's next, under Mahankali Movies production, titled 'Black'






Aadi Saikumar earned an image for himself by starring in good films. His next project is being directed by GB Krishna and it has Dharshana Banik, who made her debut with 'Aatagadu' in the lady lead role. Mahankali Diwakar is producing this film under Mahankali Movies banner. The makers have announced that this film has been titled 'Black' and unveiled the title poster and the making video today. The shoot has been paused due to lockdown regulations and over 70% of the film had been shot already. The producers are planning to resume shoot and complete the remaining portion once the lockdown is eased.

Speaking on the occasion, the producer, Mahankali Diwakar said, "We have locked 'Black' as the title of our film which has Aadi Saikumar in lead role. We have released the title, working stills and the making video today. The film is riding high on buzz and releasing the making video will help the cause. Aadi Saikumar is eager to score a big hit and this film has a unique plotline. It was stand as a milestone in Aadi's career. We are making the film with very good technical values and will be resuming shoot once the lockdown is eased. We are confident that the film will match the expectations of the audience," he said.

Srivari Laddu Prasadam at Half Price to Devotees - Addl EO






Tirumala, 23 May 2020: TTD is at set to sell laddus at half of its price at all its Kalyana Mandapams located in the Head Quarters of 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh from May 25 onwards, said TTD Additional Executive Officer Sri A V Dharma Reddy.

Flagging off lorries carrying laddu Prasadam from Tirumala to all districts on Saturday morning, he said that uncertainty prevailed on the resumption of Srivari darshan to devotees which was suspended for over 60 days following Coronavirus lockdown across the country.

In this backdrop, he said, TTD has been receiving mails, phone calls, WhatsApp Messages for at least supply of Srivari laddu Prasadam which is as sacred as darshan of the lord.

TTD board favourably decided to resume laddu Prasadam supply and also offered huge subsidy at 25/- per laddu instead of the regular price of 50 per laddu without loss- profit considerations.

He said two lorries each with Srivari laddus started for Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam, Guntur, Krishna,
East and West Godavari districts and same would reach remaining destinations by Sunday. TTD will store 15,000-20,000 laddus at TTD Kalyana Mandapams in all district headquarters in the state.

All arrangements are made at the Kalyana Mandapams for distribution of Srivari laddus to devotees. TTD employees, Srivari sevakulu, HDPP staff, police and revenue officials are adequately deployed to observe social distancing and sanitise environment at the sale points of laddu sales.

Adding further he said, only small quantities of big Kalyanotsavam laddus were prepared only for use in daily rituals at Srivari temple.

Earlier the Additional EO also participated in the 44th day of the Yogavashistam - Dhanvantari Maha Mantra parayanam underway at the Nada Niranjanam in Tirumala organised by the Dharmagiri Veda vijnan peetham. He also performed Gow-puja on the occasion of Rohini Nakshtram.

Sekhar Kammula’s good gesture to ‘Love Story’ producers


The lockdown has severely impacted the film industry. Due to theatres and multiplexes closure, releases of films have got stalled. Producers who have completed their films and waiting for release, are incurring huge losses with no other option. And now producers are worried about the after effects of lockdown.

In such testing times, director Sekhar Kammula’s good gesture to his producers is winning applause. Going into details, Sekhar has committed to do one more film with ‘Love Story’ producer Narayandas K Naarang.

The producers are confident that whenever ‘Love Story’ releases, the film score a hit and so they have signed Sekhar to do another project in their production.A Star Hero will feature in the film.

Director Sekhar Kammula who is known to be very generous accepted the producers offer and he has complete knowledge about the consequences post the lockdown. To instill the confidence in producers, Sekhar did not hesitate much about this offer.

Narayan Das Naarang will produce the film under Sri Venkateshwara Cinemas LLP Banner. More details awaited.
