Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Teppotsvam Concludes
Tiruchanoor, 5 Jun. 20: The five day float festival of Sri Padmavati temple at Tiruchanoor observed within the temple as per COVID 19 restrictions concluded on Friday.
On the final day Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed to the utsava idols of Sri Padmavati as per Agama traditions.
Dyeo Smt Jhansi Rani, AEO Sri Subramaniam and other officials participated.
Free Eye Care to Poor - TTD Chairman
Tirupati, 5 Jun. 20: TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy on Friday directed officials to provide quality free eye care to poor of Nellore, Prakasam and other Rayalaseema districts.
The Chairman visited Aravind Eye Hospital near Alipiri on Friday evening along with Tirupati JEO Sri P Basant Kumar.
Speaking to media later the TTD Chairman said TTD would construct Aravind Eye Hospital on 7-acre land with latest Kilofer technology to conduct free eye operations to poor across the state.
He instructed the officials to provide wide publicity on the surgical and other facilities available at this hospital from last April onwards to people of Rayalaseema.
Earlier, the patients had to visit either Hyderabad or Madurai. Now people can avail such quality and speciality care under the AP state government's unique scheme Kanti Velugu.
Earlier Dr A Ashok Vardhan, CMO of the Aravind Eye Hospital made a Powerpoint presentation on the special infrastructure and services available at the institute.
The TTD Chairman also inspected the 112-acre land allocated by TTD for AP Science City near Alipiri.
He also visited the Central hospital and Sri Shankar Netralaya hospital and its operation theatres within the TTD administration building complex and enquired about services etc.
TTD CMO Dr Nageswara Rao and BIRRD director Dr Madanmohan Reddy and superintendent Dr Kusuma Kumari participated.
All Rituals as Per Agamas - EO
Tirumala, 5 Jun. 20: All festivals and rituals have been observed with utmost devotion in Tirumala and other temples of TTD in the last two and a half months, though the darshan is closed for devotees due to nationwide Covid 19 lockdown restrictions, said TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal.
Speaking to media persons at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Friday, he said, ever since the darshan is closed for devotees in all TTD - run temples on March 20, TTD has been observing all religious annual fete as per respective Agamas of various temples without fail in Ekantam.
''Be it Ugadi, KRT Brahmotsavams, Vontimitta Kalyanam, SKVST Pudhpayagam, Vasnathotsavams at Tirumala, Tiruchanoor, GT Brahmotsavams, Applayagunta Brahmotsavams, Jyestabhishekam at Tirumala, TTD is performing all rituals in Ekanta.

The world of Hotstar Specials show Aarya starts with a loving wife & doting mother (Aarya), her reluctance to be involved in the illegal narcotics family business; whose life is suddenly turned upside down, her family is threatened and, in the quest to protect them she is forced to become the very person she always avoided. She realizes that to protect her family from criminals, she herself needs to become one!
Former Miss Universe and actor Sushmita Sen makes her digital debut as the protagonist in this titular show, after staying away from the spotlight for over a decade. Popular actor Chandrachur Singh also returns to the screen in this riveting story. The show also features an ensemble cast of talented actors Namit Das, Sikandar Kher, Jayant Kripalani, Sohaila Kapoor, Sugandha Garg, Maya Sareen, Vishwajeet Pradhan and Manish Chaudhary in pivotal roles. Co-produced by Endemol Shine, Aarya is an official adaptation of popular Dutch crime-drama Penoza.

Synopsis
Born into an upper-class family in Rajasthan, Aarya (Sushmita Sen) is a doting wife to Tej (Chandrachur singh), an obedient daughter, a loving sister and a dedicated mother to three beautiful children. Her family owns one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies which is a front for an illegal drug ring that is run by Tej, Jawahar and Sangram - her brother. When she finds her husband getting sucked in too deep into the family business, she gives him an ultimatum to either leave the business or leave her & the children. Suddenly, Tej is mysteriously attacked, her family’s lives are threatened and this changes Aarya’s life forever. She now embarks upon a quest to protect her family from rivals, discovering dark secrets about her family and the business, while getting sucked deeper into the very world she wanted to leave.
Chakrasnanam Heralds end of Sri Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple Brahmotsavams
Tirupati, 5 Jun. 20: The Nine-day annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Govindarajaswami temple on Friday with the chakrasnanam event within the temple premises performed in a huge vessel Gangalam.
Earlier the utsava idols of Sri Govindaraja Swami and his consorts were offered Snapana Tirumanjanam inside the temple mandapam amidst chanting of Veda mantras and a gala of Vaidyams.
Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swami and Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swami, Special Grade Dyeo Smt Varalakshmi, Chief archaka and Kangana bhattar Sri AP Srinivasa Dikshitulu participated.
