Annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Kapileswara Swamy Vari Temple in Ekantham form 4th to 13th March



Tirupati, 23 February 2021: In view of COVID-19 guidelines, TTD is organising annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Kapileswara temple from March 4 to 13 in Ekantham with Ankurarpanam on March 3.

 

Following are schedule of Vahana Sevas of the Brahmotsavam both morning and evening.

Tiruchi utsavam and Adhikanandi Vahana 

 

09-03-2021 (Tuesday) Vyaghra vahana and Gaja Vahana 

 

10-03-2021(Wednesday) Kalpavruksha vahana and Aswa Vahana

 

11-03-2021(Thursday) Rathotsavam (bhogi theru) and Nandi Vahana 

 

12-03-2021(Friday) Purushamruga Vahana, Kalyanotsavam and Tiruchi utsava 

 

13-03-2021(Saturday Sri Natarajaswami Ravanasura Vahana and Surya Prabha vahana, Trishula snanam and Dwajavarohanam.

 

All Vahana sevas in the morning and evening for Swami and Ammavaru will be held in Ekantham inside the temple in view of Covid guidelines.

 

As part of the practice the TTD is organising Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam at the Sri Kapileswara temple on February 28 from 11.30 am to 2.30 pm and devotees darshan will commence after 3.00 pm.

TTD Jeo Visits Jabili

Tirupati, 23 Feb. 21: The JEO for Medical and Health Smt Sada Bhargavi inspected



Jabili Children Care Centre in the TTD quarters on Tuesday. 

 

Speaking on the occasion she said, the new Jabili building which is in offing will be inaugurated soon and directed the officials concerned to make necessary arrangements for the same. 

 

Estates Officer Sri Mallikarjuna was also present. 

Entusiastic Women Employees Participate in TTD Annual Sports




Tirupati, 23 February 2021: As part of its annual sports meet, TTD organised ball badminton for women in the Parade Grounds behind the TTD administrative building on Tuesday noon.

 

In the ball Badminton event for 45+ event Smt G D Selvi team trounced the Smt Lalita team for first and second places respectively. 

TTD To Place Purana Epics in Public Domain - TTD JEo



Tirupati, 23 Feb. 21: TTD Joint Executive Officer (Health & Education) Smt Sada Bhargavi has urged pundits to speed up the Telugu translation of epic Puranas to fulfill the TTD’s agenda of Sanatana Hindu Dharma propagation to place all such epics in the public domain within the stipulated time.

 

The JEO on Tuesday evening inspected the ongoing translation activity of Astadasa puranams at SVETA Bhavan.

 

Speaking, she directed officials to complete the translation of the Agni Puranam and publish it by Ugadi. 

 

Later OSD of the project Acharya Dakshinamurthy explained the progress of the translation work of Astadasha Puranam to the JEO.

 

Eminent pundits Dr Samudrala Lakshmaiah Dr K Surya Narayana, Dr S Satyanarayana Murthy, Dr K Pratap, Dr Suram Srinivasulu, Dr D Krishnamurthy, Dr G Prabhakar Sharma, Dr Trishulpani, Dr Samudrala Dasharath, and Sri SBS Pani also participated.

Krishna - Andal Takes Float Ride







Tirupati, 23 Feb. 21: On the third day of ongoing Teppotsavam of lord Sri Govindaraja Swamy, in the guise of Sri Krishna Swamy, lord took a celestial ride on the finely decked float along with Sri Andal Goda Devi on Tuesday evening. 

 

The deities blessed the devotees between 6:30pm and 8pm on float.

Srivari Sevakulu Should Participate in TTD Dharmic Activities - TTD Addl.Eo









Tirumala, 23 Feb. 21: While appreciating the devoted services of Srivari Sevakulu, TTD Additional Sri AV Dharma Reddy called upon them to participate in TTD dharmic activities in their respective home turfs and extend their services as Custodians of Santana Dharma (Seva Dal).

 

Addressing the Srivari Sevakulu at Srivari Seva Sadan on Tuesday he said TTD aimed to utilise the services of Srivari Sevakulu in all its programs for promoting Sanatana Hindu dharma across the country by taking up unique programmes live Srinivasa Kalyanams, Kalyanamastu mass marriages for poor couple etc.

 

He was in all praise for Srivari Sevakulu who had rendered dedicated service during Ratha Sapthami at Tirumala held during last week, spiritual programs at organised by TTD at Kurnool, Visakhapatnam and Nellore etc.  

 

Referring to legends and Puranas, he spoke highly of Srivari Sevakulu as favourites of Lord Venkateswara and the lord always likes those who serve His bhaktas. He said Srivari Seva is a blessing for them to serve devotees for a week's time at Tirumala.

 

He urged them to spread information about facilities and their experiences at Tirumala in their regions and inspire more youth and devotees to enlist as Srivari Sevakulu.
