Organic Naivedyam to Govinda - TTD Chairman






Tirumala, 1 May 2021: TTD has commenced preparation of Srivari Naivedyam from organic products like rice vegetables, jaggery, desi cow ghee and pulses, says TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy on Saturday.

 

Speaking to media later the TTD chairman said TTD had revived the 100-year-old practice and glory of the Srivari temple of preparing Srivari naivedyam with organic farm produces on Saturday.

 

He said devotees who tasted the Anna Prasadam today appreciated the change in the rich taste and TTD has resolved to continue the use of organic farm products on a permanent basis in preparations of Srivari Anna Prasadams.

 

He said similarly Organic Bengal gram and jaggery were used today in the TTD potu (Srivari kitchen) to prepare Srivari Laddu naivedyam.

 

He said officials were directed to interact with farmers practising organic farming in the country and to procure organic products directly from them.

 

TTD Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy and TTD Board members Sri Shiva Kumar, Sri Shekar Reddy and Dr Nishita were present.

Governor calls for multi-pronged approach to contain the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic






Hyderabad, May 1: Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan on Saturday emphasized on the multi-pronged approach to contain the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Elaborating on the multi-pronged approach, she said that it was important to increase the testing, intensifying the vaccination, and ensuring that the people adhere to the COVID-appropriate behaviour to contain the pandemic.

The Governor was addressing the international webinar on the promotion of public awareness to prevent the pandemic spread, organized by the Lead India Foundation, USA chapter.

Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan stressed on the importance of public education, increased awareness and adherence to the preventive norms by all sections of the people. 

“There is a great deal of pressure on the available infrastructure with the massive number of patients rushing to the hospitals. It is not good to further burden them. It is high time that we all adhere to the preventive norms strictly and break the chain,” she said.

Referring to the shortage of vaccine doses, the Governor stated that some concrete efforts were made to ramp up the production and soon there would be required number of doses.

She expressed confidence that with the collective will of the people and their Covid-appropriate behaviour, soon our country would overcome the second wave of the pandemic.

“India will bounce back from the impact of the pandemic and will emerge victorious with the collective resolve and effort of the people,” she added.

The Governor saluted the doctors and other frontline workers for their tireless and selfless services in saving millions of precious lives during this pandemic.

Lead India Foundation, USA chapter, founder Dr. Hari Eppanapally took the initiative in organizing this webinar aimed at creating awareness and guiding the people in treatment options.

 

Sri Rama Pattabhishekam at Chandragiri Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy Vari Temple





Tirupati, 1 May 2021: TTD organised the Sri Rama Pattabhishekam celebrations at Chandragiri Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple on Saturday night in ekantham as per Covid guidelines.

 

As part of the tradition to celebrate Sri Rama Pattabisskam after performing the annual Brahmotsavam from April 22-30, the TTD conducted the divine episode between 5.00-7.00 pm with special Aradhana, Vastram and Kirita samarpana followed by Veda parayanam and Maha Mangala Harati.

13th Edition of Sundarakanda Akhanda Parayanams

 Tirumala, 1 May 2021: TTD is organising the 13th Edition of Sundarakanda Akhanda Parayanams on Sunday morning, May 2, including the significant sarga of Lanka Dahanu and Rakshasa Samhara at the Nada Niranjanam platform.

 

The unique program by TTD aimed at providing devotional and spiritual relief to humanity from pandemic Corona will be conducted under full Covid guidelines.

 

As part of the episode, the parayanams of 171 shlokas of 54-57 sargas of Sundarakanda will be held between at 7.00 am -9. 00 am.

 

Vedic pundits claim the parayanams of the significant sargas of Lanka Dana a and Rakshasa samhara will beget health and peace in a global society.

 

TTD has till date successfully conducted 12 phases of Akhanda Sundarakanda parayanams since the beginning of pandemic Corona across the globe.

 

The parayanams will be telecast live from 07.00-09.00 am by the TTD’s SVBC channel to encourage devotees to witness and practice from their homes and become partners in the divine endeavour.

Chakrasnanam of Chandragiri Sri Kodandarama Swamy Vari Temple




Tirupati, 30 April 2021:  TTD organised grand Avabrutotsavam  (chakra snanam) on Friday morning, the final day of annual Brahmotsavam in ekantham due to Covid-19 guidelines.

 

Earlier as part of special events of the day TTD archakas performed Vasantothsavam after Temple shuddi and Aradhana. Thereafter they conducted Snapana thirumanjanam for utsava idols of Sri Sitarama Lakshmana along with Chakrathalwar. The celestial event of Chakrasnanam followed amidst the Veda mantra and Mangala vadyam.

 

Later in the evening the traditional program of Dwajavarohanam was conducted heralding the conclusion of the nine-day festival of Sri Ramanavami Brahmotsavam 

 

On May 1, Saturday, TTD is organising the holy event of Sri Rama Pattabhisekam.

Covid Guidelines must for Srivari Darshan - TTD Chairman













- COVID VACCINATION FOR ALL TTD EMPLOYEES IN 2 WEEKS

- ORGANIC PRODUCTS FOR SRIVARI NAIVEDYAM ON EXPERIMENTAL BASIS

 

Tirumala, 30 April 2021: TTD chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy reiterated on Friday that Covid guidelines were mandatory to all devotees coming for Srivari Darshan.

 

Reviewing all arrangements in view of Covid spike at the Annamaiah Bhavan with officials, TTD Chairman appealed to devotees with cold, cough and fever to postpone their Tirumala pilgrimage. The TTD had provided an option to utilise their online bookings till the end of 2021, he assured.

 

Speaking to media persons later he said TTD had released daily only 15,000 online Rs.300 special Darshan tickets for the month of May, but the bookings had shown a downswing.

 

VACCINATION TO ALL TTD EMPLOYEES IN 2 WEEKS

 

The TTD chairman directed officials to make arrangements for Covid vaccination of all TTD employees working both at Tirumala and Tirupati in 

In the coming 15 days. 

 

He also TTD would provide all succour to families of 15 employees who had died due to Covid and expressed his condolences to bereaved families.

 

He also directed officials to organise payments of Covid treatment of TTD employees in private hospitals .

 

He said presently TTD is facilitating employees of Tirumala to attend office on a 50:50 ratio and same formula would be followed in attendance for employees of Tirupati as well.

 

He said officials have been directed to organise special buses to ferry TTD employees to Tirumala and also special beds with oxygen and ventilator at BIRRD hospital for employees.

 

USE OF ORGANIC PRODUCTS FOR SRIVARI NAIVEDYAM

 

The Chairman said as done by ancestors in the past, from May 1, Saturday, on experimental basis TTD is using organic farm products for preparing Srivari naivedyam, in cooperation with Sri Vijayram, a farmer from Pinagudurulanka village of Krishna district.

 

He said action plan is being chalked out to use organic farm products in preparation of Srivari laddu and vada Prasadam in the second phase and thereafter in the Anna Prasadam of devotees at Sri Tarigonda Vengamamba Anna Prasadam Bhavan in the third phase.

 

TTD has plans to make farmers of Telugu states as partners in the divine venture by giving them special training in growing organic products without use of pesticides and fertilisers. TTD also mulls to take up organic farming in the agricultural lands donated by devotees.

 

INSPECTION OF DEVOTEES QUEQUE LINES ON COVID GUIDELINES

 

After the review session at Annamaiah Bhavan the TTD Chairman inspected then Covid guidelines arrangements at special Darshan ticket entry complex in Vaikunta Queue Complex of Srivari Temple - soap liquid, hand sanitisers, scanning point, ozone sanitizers at Mahadwaram and social distancing in the queue lines.

 

The TTD chairman made several suggestions to officials on streamlining of queue lines at Padi kavali onwards.
