The 617th birth anniversary celebrations of Saint Poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya will be held in a grand manner from May 12 to 18 by TTD.
The events will take place at his birthplace Tallapaka in the Dhyana Mandiram and at the 108-feet statue and also at Annamacharya Kalamandiram in Tirupati.
At Tallapaka:
On May 12, Srinivasa Kalyanam will be performed at 10:30 AM in front of the Dhyana Mandiram. From May 12 to 14, devotional music and dance programs will be held in the evenings from 6PM to 8 PM near the 108-feet statue of Annamacharya.
At Tirupati:
At Annamacharya Kalamandiram, literary seminars will be conducted from May 13 to 17 between 10:30 AM and 1 PM. From May 12 to 18, morning and evening cultural programs including music and dance performances by eminent artists will be held.
These events are organized under the auspices of TTD’s Annamacharya Project, in celebration of the saint-poet’s immense contribution towards the devotional music and literature.

On May 11, at 9 AM, a floral tribute will be offered to the statue of Matrushri Tarigonda Vengamamba located at the M.R.Palli Circle in Tirupati.

On May 11, a special Snapana Tirumanjanam will be conducted to Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy in Tarigonda, followed by a floral tribute to Matrushri Tarigonda Vengamamba at the temple premises.
From 6 PM to 8 PM, Goshti Ganam and Harikatha programs will be held by Annamaacharya Project artists.
In light of the tense war-like situation between India and Pakistan, an "Area Domination" exercise was conducted in Tirumala on Friday as a precautionary measure.
As part of this operation, around 130 personnel from OCTOPUS, police, intelligence, security departments, bomb squad, and dog squad participated. The teams were divided into four groups and carried out inspections in crowded areas such as the Sri Venkateswara temple, cottages, and bus stand. The goal was to instill confidence among devotees and act as a warning to miscreants. Suspicious individuals were questioned, and their luggage was thoroughly checked.
Speaking on the occasion, DSP Sri Vijay Kumar said that this exercise would now be conducted regularly to reinforce the message that TTD’s security system is fully alert. He added that the operation serves as a warning to troublemakers and assurance to the devotees.
The Area Domination activities will cover key locations including CRO, RTC bus stand, Sri Venkateswara temple, Nandakam area, MBC, and the Srivari footpath.
Vehicles entering Tirumala, monasteries, guest houses, and local residential areas will be inspected daily as part of this initiative.
TTD Vigilance Officer Sri Surendra, OCTOPUS DSP Sri Vishwanatham, and other officials participated in the operation.

ఈ సందర్భంగా డి.ఎస్.పి శ్రీ విజయకుమార్ మాట్లాడుతూ, తిరుమలలో ఇప్పటి నుండి ప్రతిరోజు తిరుమల తిరుపతి దేవస్థానాల భద్రతా వ్యవస్థ ఎంత అప్రమత్తంగా వుందో దుండగులకు ఒక హెచ్చరిక లాగా, స్వామి వారి భక్తులకు భరోసా లాగా సందేశం ఇవ్వడం జరుగుతుందన్నారు. ఇందులో ఆక్టోపస్, పోలీస్, టిటిడి నిఘా మరియు భద్రత సిబ్బంది పాల్గొంటున్నట్లు చెప్పారు. ఏరియా డామినేషన్ భద్రత సిబ్బంది నాలుగు గ్రూపులుగా విడిపోయి సిఆర్ఓ మరియు ఆర్ టిసి బస్టాండ్, శ్రీవారి ఆలయం, నందకం పరిసర ప్రాంతాలు, ఎంబిసి మరియు శ్రీవారి మెట్టు తదితర ప్రాంతాలలో ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్వహించనున్నట్లు తెలియజేశారు.
ప్రతిరోజు తిరుమలకు వచ్చే వాహనాలు, మఠాలు, అతిథి గృహాలు, స్థానిక నివాస ప్రాంతాలలో తనిఖీలు నిర్వహించనున్నట్లు వివరించారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో తిరుమల విజిఓ శ్రీ సురేంద్ర, ఆక్టోపస్ డిఎస్పి శ్రీ విశ్వనాథం, ఇతర అధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
It is the bounden duty of every Hotelier in Tirumala to provide tasty and hygienic dishes to the multitude of visiting devotees ensuring proper maintenance in all hotels, avoiding any sort of inconvenience.
Addressing a meeting with the hotel operators and local stake holders at Asthana Mandapam in Tirumala on Thursday, the Additional EO emphasized that high-quality food must be served with devotion, keeping in mind the health safety of the devotees.
He said the devotees should experience the pilgrimage to Tirumala as a sweet and memorable experience.
He noted that even small mistakes by hotel staff have led to significant dissatisfaction among devotees.
He directed hotel owners to strictly follow legal norms, regularly clean the premises, and adhere to a checklist that TTD’s Health Department provides them daily.
He warned that officials from all departments of TTD will conduct surprise inspections.
He said TTD is already providing quality meals through the Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Annaprasadam Complex(MTVAC) and 33 food counters in high-traffic areas.
He stressed that hotel staff must wear traditional attire, reflecting Telugu culture while serving devotees and to avoid past mistakes, strict measures must be taken.
Hotel operators must display valid trade licenses, GST certificates, and provide facilities for digital payments. They should renew their licenses within the stipulated time and display price lists prominently.
He asked officials to ensure safe LPG cylinder usage in kitchens and asked the hoteliers to take collective responsibility for cleanliness by disposing of waste promptly.
He also emphasized the need to provide safe drinking water and avoid wastage of water and electricity.
A pilot project will be carried out on these practices in 5 to 10 hotels soon, and TTD will provide necessary support.
Later, the hotel owners shared their challenges with the Additional EO, who assured them that suitable actions would be taken after discussions with officials concerned.
The meeting was attended by Annaprasadam Deputy EO Sri Rajendra Kumar, DyEO Health Sri Somannarayana, Estate Officer Sri Venkateswarlu, Special Officer of Catering Sri Shastry, VGO Smt. Sadalakshmi, and other officials along with hotel operators.

ఈ సందర్భంగా అదనపు ఈవో మాట్లాడుతూ, భక్తుల ఆరోగ్యాన్ని దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని నాణ్యమైన ఆహార పదార్థాలను భక్తిశ్రద్ధలతో అందించాలన్నారు. తిరుమల యాత్ర భక్తులకు ఒక మధురానుభూతిని కల్పించాలన్నారు. హోటల్ నిర్వాహకులు చేసే చిన్న చిన్న పొరపాట్ల వల్ల భక్తులు చాలా అసంతృప్తితో వెళుతున్నారని చెప్పారు. హోటళ్ల యజమానులు చట్టబద్ధమైన నియమ నిబంధనలను పాటించాలని, ఎప్పటికప్పుడు పరిసరాలను శుభ్రపరచుకోవాలన్నారు. టీటీడీ ఆరోగ్య విభాగం ప్రతిరోజు చేయవలసిన పనులతో కూడిన చెక్లిస్ట్ అందిస్తుందని, దానిని తప్పకుండా పాటించాలన్నారు. టిటిడిలోని అన్ని విభాగాల అధికారులు ఎప్పటికప్పుడు ఆకస్మిక తనిఖీలు నిర్వహిస్తారని చెప్పారు.
తిరుమలలో మాతృశ్రీ తరిగొండ వెంగమాంబ అన్నప్రసాద భవనంతో పాటు భక్తుల రద్దీ అధికంగా ఉండే ప్రాంతాలలో 33 అన్నప్రసాద కౌంటర్లలో టీటీడీ నాణ్యమైన భోజనం అందిస్తోందన్నారు. అదేవిధంగా భగవంతుని సన్నిధిలోని హోటళ్ల యజమానులు కూడా మంచి తినుబండారాలు అందించాలన్నారు. భక్తుల ఆరోగ్యానికి హానికరమైన చైనీస్ వంటకాలను పూర్తిగా నిలిపివేయాలని సూచించారు. హోటల్లో నిర్వాహకులు, పనిచేసే సిబ్బంది సాంప్రదాయ వస్త్రధారణ ధరించి భక్తులకు సేవలందించాలని, ముఖ్యంగా తెలుగు సాంప్రదాయం ఉట్టిపడాలన్నారు.
గతంలో జరిగిన పొరపాట్లు పునరావృతం కాకుండా పటిష్టమైన చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలన్నారు. హోటల్లో వద్ద ట్రేడ్ లైసెన్స్, జిఎస్టి వంటి ధ్రువీకరణ పత్రాలను అధికారులకు కనిపించేలా డిస్ప్లే చేయాలన్నారు. భక్తులు డిజిటల్ పేమెంట్ చేసేందుకు అవసరమైన ఏర్పాట్లు చేయాలని సూచించారు. హోటల్ నిర్వహణ లైసెన్సును నిర్ణీత సమయంలో రెన్యువల్ చేసుకోవాలన్నారు. అన్ని దుకాణాలలో ధరల పట్టికను ప్రదర్శించాలని చెప్పారు. ఆహార పదార్థాలు తయారు చేసేటప్పుడు సిలిండర్ ఏర్పాటు చేసే విషయంలో తీసుకోవాల్సిన జాగ్రత్తలను సంబంధిత అధికారులు నడిగి తెలుసుకోవాలన్నారు. హోటళ్ల లోని వ్యర్ధాలను ఎప్పటికప్పుడు తొలగించాలని, హోటల్లో యజమానులు సమిష్టిగా పారిశుద్ధ్య చర్యలు చేపట్టాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
భక్తులకు సురక్షితమైన తాగునీరు అందించాలన్నారు నీరు, విద్యుత్తు వృధా కాకుండా వినియోగించుకోవాలని చెప్పారు. త్వరలో ఐదు నుండి 10 హోటళ్లలో పైలెట్ ప్రాజెక్టు కింద ఈ విధి విధానాలు అమలు అయ్యేలా నిర్వాహకులు సహకరించాలన్నారు. ఇందుకు అవసరమైన సహాయ సహకారాలను టీటీడీ అధికారులు అందిస్తారని వివరించారు.
అనంతరం హోటళ్ల నిర్వాహకులు తాము ఎదుర్కొంటున్న సమస్యలను అదనపు ఈవోకి వివరించారు. దీనిపై ఆయన అధికారులతో చర్చించి చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని చెప్పారు.
