An amount of Rs.10lakh has been donated to Sri Venkateswara Pranadana Trust of TTD by Tirupati district-based devotee on Thursday.
Sri Potireddi Lokesh hailing from Naidupeta has given this largesse.
On behalf of the donor, his representative Sri Raghavendra handed over the DD for the same amount to the TTD Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdary at latter's camp office in Tirumala over the hands of Kadiri Legislator Sri Kandikunta Venkata Prasad.
Garuda Vahana Seva was observed with utmost religious fervour in Appalayagunta on Wednesday evening, blessing thousands of devotees.
Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy was taken for a majestic ride on the mighty Ave carrier.
Wearing all precious silks and jewels, the deity blessed his devotees along the streets encircling the shrine.

అప్పలాయగుంట శ్రీ ప్రసన్న వేంకటేశ్వర స్వామివారి బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల్లో భాగంగా బుధవారం రాత్రి 7.30గం.లకు శ్రీ ప్రసన్న వేంకటేశ్వరస్వామి వారు గరుడ వాహనంపై శ్రీ ప్రసన్న వేంకటేశ్వరస్వామి భక్తులను అనుగ్రహించారు.
రాత్రి 7.30 గంటలకు గరుడ వాహనసేవ ప్రారంభమైంది. భక్తులు అడుగడుగునా కర్పూరహారతులు సమర్పించి స్వామివారిని దర్శించుకున్నారు. ఉదయం 9.30 - 11 గం.ల మధ్య స్నపన తిరుమంజనం నిర్వహించారు. సాయంత్రం 5 గం. నుండి 5.30 గం.ల వరకు శ్రీవారిని ఊంజల్ మండపమునకు వేంచేపు చేశారు. సా. 5.30 - 6.30 గం.ల మధ్య ఊంజల్ సేవ నిర్వహించారు.
అనంతరం రాత్రి 7.30 గం.లకు గరుడ వాహనంపై శ్రీ ప్రసన్న వేంకటేశ్వరస్వామి భక్తులను అనుగ్రహించారు. గరుడ సేవను తిలకించేందుకు విశేష సంఖ్యలో భక్తులు తరలి వచ్చారు.
జూన్ 12న గురువారం ఉదయం 8.00 గం.లకు హనుమంత వాహనంపై స్వామి వారు వివరించనున్నారు.

A 12-hour uninterrupted discourse on the messages of the Upanishads was held on Wednesday at Annamacharya Kalamandiram, Tirupati. The event was organized by the National Gita Propagation Committee in association with TTD and Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad.
Sri Ponna Krishnamurthy, Program Assistant of HDPP and a noted scholar, delivered the commentary from 7 AM to 7 PM without a break. His achievement was recognized by the International Wonder Book of Records, London.
The discourse covered key teachings from Taittiriya, Mandukya, Prashna, Kena, Aitareya, and Katha Upanishads.
Prominent attendees included representatives from the National Gita Committee, Vice-Chancellors of SV Vedic University and National Sanskrit University, saints from Sri Ramakrishna Math and Lalita Peetham, among others.

The BT road repair works are progressing at a brisk pace on the ghat roads connecting to Tirumala. In this context, TTD appeals to all vehicle users to drive cautiously along these routes.
With the intention of minimizing inconvenience to pilgrims, TTD has decided to carry out the road works without closing the ghat roads and is taking necessary measures to complete the repairs within the stipulated time.
Hence, pilgrims are advised to plan their travel to Tirumala accordingly and start their journey at least an hour earlier than usual.
Due to the ongoing repairs, vehicles may have to travel slowly and may be required to stop at certain points en route.
These repairs are being undertaken by TTD to ensure a smoother and safer travel experience for the pilgrims.
Pilgrims travelling from Renigunta Airport, Tirupati Railway Station, and RTC Bus Stand to Tirumala are requested to make prior travel arrangements in view of the ongoing works.
Every department within TTD is actively involved in facilitating the smooth execution of these repairs. Considering the repair activities.
TTD once again appeals to all the vehicle users to proceed with caution and extend their cooperation to ensure timely completion of the work.
