The annual Pushpayagam was held with religious fervour at Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple in Tirupati on Wednesday evening.

Earlier from 9.30 AM to 11.30 AM, Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed to the deities.

Later from 1 PM to 4 PM, the Pushpayagam ritual was conducted amidst the Vedic chants and traditional music.

As a mark of atonement for any lapses in rituals during annual Brahmotsavams or daily sevas, this ritual was performed to waive off the sin.

Around 3 tons of 12 varieties of flowers and 6 types of leaves have been uaed. The flowers were donated by devotees from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka.

In the evening, the deities were taken in a procession around the four Mada streets.

The temple Dy EO Smt. Shanti, Garden Deputy Director Sri Srinivasulu, AEO Sri Gopinath, temple priests, staff, and a large number of devotees participated.

The rituals for Pushpayagam at Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati commenced with Ankurarpanam and Senadhipathi Utsavam on Tuesday evening at 5.30 pm. 

The procession of the divine commander-in-chief, Sri Vishwaksena was held around temple streets.

On Wednesday, July 02, Snapana Tirumanjanam will be performed at 9.30 am, followed by Pushpayagam from 1 pm to 4 pm with a range of variety of flowers to the deities.

Later, from 6 pm to 7.30 pm, Swamy along with Ammavarlu will bless devotees 

Deputy EO Smt. Shanti, AEO Sri Muni Krishna Reddy, temple officials and priests participated.

తిరుపతి శ్రీ గోవిందరాజస్వామివారి ఆలయంలో జూలై 02వ తేదీ బుధవారం జ‌రుగ‌నున్న‌ పుష్పయాగానికి మంగళవారం  సాయంత్రం 5.30 - 8.30 గం.ల మధ్య సేనాధిప‌తి ఉత్స‌వం, శాస్ర్తోక్తంగా అంకురార్ప‌ణ నిర్వ‌హించారు.

ఇందులో భాగంగా శ్రీ విష్వ‌క్సేనులవారు ఆల‌య మాడ వీధుల్లో విహ‌రించారు. ఆ త‌రువాత అంకురార్పణ కార్య‌క్ర‌మాలు చేప‌ట్టారు.

బుధవారం ఉదయం 9.30 గంటలకు సతీసమేత శ్రీ గోవిందరాజస్వామి ఉత్సవర్లకు స్నపన తిరుమంజనం, మధ్యాహ్నం 1 గంట నుండి సాయంత్రం 4 గంటల వరకు వేడుకగా పుష్పయాగం నిర్వహిస్తారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా పలురకాల పుష్పాలు, ప‌త్రాల‌తో శ్రీదేవి , భూదేవి సమేత స్వామివారికి అభిషేకం చేస్తారు. అనంతరం సాయంత్రం 6 - 7.30 గం.ల వరకు స్వామి, అమ్మవార్లు ఆలయ నాలుగు మాడ వీధుల్లో ఊరేగి భక్తులను ఆశీర్వదించనున్నారు. 

ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ఆల‌య డెప్యూటీ ఈవో శ్రీమతి శాంతి, ఏఈవో శ్రీ ముని కృష్ణారెడ్డి,  ఇతర అధికారులు, అర్చకులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

The Jayanti celebrations of Sri Mareecha Maharshi were conducted in a grand manner at Asthana Mandapam in Tirumala on Tuesday evening.

The event was jointly organized by the TTD Alwar Divya Prabandha Project and Sri Vaikhanasa Divya Siddhanta Vivardhini Sabha. 

Speaking on the occasion, scholars highlighted that Sri Mareecha Maharshi, a distinguished disciple of Sri Vikhanasa Maharshi the pioneer of the Vaikhanasa Shastra authored the sacred text known as ''Vimanarchana Kalpam''.

This text serves as the authoritative guideline for rituals and worship methods followed in the Srivari temple. 

It is specifically mentioned that the ritual of "Ashtadala Padapadmaradhana Seva" performed to Sri Venkateswara Swamy is based entirely on the guidelines as prescribed in this revered scripture.

The event witnessed the participation of eminent Vaikhanasa Agama scholars including Sri Ganjam Prabhakaracharyulu, TTD Vaikhanasa Agama Advisors Sri Archakam Ananthasayanam Dikshitulu, Khadri Narasimhacharyulu, Sri P.K. Varadan Bhattacharyan, Professor Sri Ganjam Ramakrishna from SV Vedic University, Professor Sri Tanuj Vishnuvardhan from National Sanskrit University, and students from Dharmagiri Veda Vijnana Peetham.
