The TTD Chairman Sri BR Naidu, in a statement released on Sunday, refuted the comments made by the former EO and the retired senior IAS officer Sri LV Subramaniam, misrepresenting the need to implement an artificial intelligence policy in TTD.

In the larger interests of the common devotees who are facing long waiting hours in queue lines and Vaikuntham complexes in Tirumala to have darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy, the TTD Board has decided to provide darshan to the devotees within the stipulated time using advanced AI technology in collaboration with Google, TCS and other organizations free of cost, the TTD Chairman stated.

The TTD Trust Board  has decided to let the devotees know the darshan time of Srivaru in advance so that they can visit other temples without having to wait in compartments and serpentine queue lines for a long time. 

The TTD Chairman also condemned the comments of retired senior IAS officer and former TTD EO Sri LV Subramaniam that without understanding the importance of AI technology, it is not correct for a senior and experienced person to make comments that AI technology is not suggestible in Tirumala. Such comments create unnecessary confusion among the devotees.

When the entire world is looking at AI technology to facilitate services around the world, the comments of Sri LV Subramanyam not to implement AI policy in TTD are not justifiable and I am leaving that to his wisdom'', the Chairman reiterated.

The annual Pavithrotsavams of Sri Venkateswara Swamy, along with Sridevi and Bhudevi, will be conducted with religious fervor at the Tondamanpuram temple from August 6 to 9, 2025.

The festivities will commence on August 6 with Ankurarpanam at 6 PM.

Program Schedule:

August 7: Morning – Pavitra Pratishta, Evening – Vedic rituals in Yagashala

August 8: Morning – Pavitra Samarpana, Evening – Chatushtana Archana

August 9: Morning – Maha Poornahuti, distribution of pavitras, Snapanatirumanjanam, and Chakrasnanam. The event concludes with Evening Prakara Utsavam and Asthanam.

The annual three-day Pavitrotsavams is scheduled from August 5-7 with Ankurarpanam on August 4.

On the first day, Pavitra Pratista, second-day Pavitra Samarpana and on the last day Pavitra Purnahuti will be observed.

Every day there will be Snapana Tirumanjanam to the deities.

The festival is believed to have commenced in 1962 to waive off sins that were committed either knowingly or unknowingly by the religious staff, temple staff, employees and even devotees all through the year through Agama rituals.

TTD has cancelled Sahasra Deepalankara Seva on August 4, Astadala Pada Padmaradhana Seva on August 5, Tiruppavada on August 7, also cancelled Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, Arjita Brahmotsavam and Sahasra Deepalankara Sevas on all the three days.
