Ankurarpanam Performed

 










The traditional Ankurarpana ritual for the annual Karthika Brahmotsavams of Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru at Tiruchanoor was performed with religious fervour on Sunday night.


From 6 PM to 8:30 PM, Punyahavachanam, Rakshabandhanam, and the Senadhipathi Utsavam were conducted in the four Mada streets surrounding the temple, followed by the sacred Ankurarpanam ritual.

The main segment of Ankurarpanam, Mritsangrahanam (collection of sacred soil), was conducted in Friday Gardens. 

The ritual began by worshipping to Sri Bhu Varaha Swamy, followed by Gayatri Anushtanam and chanting of the Bhu Suktam. 

The priests invoked the blessings of Mother Earth and collected the soil and ceremoniously brought it to the temple.

The sacred soil along with nine varieties of pulses (Navadhanyas) was placed in nine different pots, sprinkled with turmeric water, and the seed-sowing ritual (Beejavapanam) was conducted. 

TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal, JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, CVSO Sri Muralikrishna, temple Deputy EO Sri Harindranath, religious staff, officials, and devotees participated in the event.

తిరుచానూరు శ్రీ పద్మావతి అమ్మవారి కార్తీక బ్రహ్మోత్సవాలకు ఆదివారం రాత్రి శాస్త్రోక్తంగా అంకురార్పణ జరిగింది.


సాయంత్రం 6 నుంచి రాత్రి 8.30 గంటల వరకు పుణ్యహవచనం, రక్షా బంధనం, ఆలయ నాలుగు మాడ వీధుల్లో సేనాధిపతి ఉత్సవం నిర్వహించిన తరువాత శాస్త్రోక్తంగా అంకురార్పణ ఘట్టం నిర్వహించారు.

అంకురార్పణ ఘట్టంలో ముందుగా భగవంతుని అనుజ్ఞ తీసుకుని షోడషోపచారాలు సమర్పించారు. సమస్తమైన విఘ్నాలు తొలగేందుకు విష్వక్సేనారాధన నిర్వహించారు. ఆ తరువాత స్థల శుద్ధి, ద్రవ్యశుద్ధి, శరీర శుద్ధి, ఆత్మశుద్ధి కోసం పుణ్యహవచనం చేపట్టారు. పుణ్యమైన మంత్రాలను పఠించి కలశంలోని నీటిని శుద్ధి చేయడాన్ని పుణ్యహవచనం అంటారు. సభాపూజలో భాగంగా భగవంతునికి సాష్టాంగ ప్రణామం సమర్పించి అనుజ్ఞ తీసుకున్నారు. యాగశాలలో ఎవరెవరు ఎలాంటి విధులు నిర్వహించాలనే విషయాన్ని రుత్విక్‌వరణంలో వివరించారు.

అంకురార్పణ కార్యక్రమంలో ప్రధాన ఘట్టం మృత్సంగ్రహణం. అమ్మవారి ఆలయం వద్దగల శుక్రవారపు తోటలో ఈశాన్య దిశలో ఈ కార్యక్రమం నిర్వహించారు. ముందుగా శ్రీభూవరాహస్వామివారిని ప్రార్థించి, గాయత్రి అనుష్టానం, భూసూక్తం పారాయణం చేశారు. ధూపదీప నైవేద్యం సమర్పించి మాషాచోప(మినుముల అన్నం) బలిహరణ చేశారు. ఆ ప్రాంతాన్ని గోమూత్రం, గోమేయంతో శుద్ధి చేసి భూమాతను ఆవాహన చేసి వస్త్రసమర్పణగావించారు. భూమాత ఉద్వాసన అనంతరం పుట్టమన్ను తీసుకుని ఆలయానికి వేంచేపు చేశారు. యాగశాలలో వాస్తుదోష నివారణ కోసం హవనం నిర్వహించారు. ఆ తరువాత పాలికల్లో మట్టిని, నవధాన్యాలను ఉంచి పసుపునీళ్లు చల్లి బీజవాపనం చేపట్టారు. అనంతరం నివేదన, బలిహరణ, నీరాజనం, మంత్రపుష్పం, తీర్థప్రసాద గోష్టి నిర్వహించారు.

ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో  టిటిడి ఈవో శ్రీ అనిల్ కుమార్ సింఘాల్, జేఈవో శ్రీ వి వీరబ్రహ్మం, సివిఎస్వో శ్రీ కె.వి.మురళీకృష్ణ, ఆలయ డెప్యూటి ఈఓ శ్రీ హరీంద్రనాథ్, అర్చకులు శ్రీ బాబు స్వామి, అర్చకులు, పలువురు అధికారులు, భక్తులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

Laksha Kumkumarchana Held at Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple

 







In connection with the annual Karthika Brahmotsavams which are set to commence from November 17 onwards, the sacred Laksha Kumkumarchana was performed with religious fervour on Sunday morning at Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple in Tiruchanoor.


Kumkuma-the vermilion, holds a revered place in Hindu Sanatana Dharma. It is believed that a married woman applying kumkum on her forehead seeks the Almighty, to bless her husband with longevity. 

Sindhooram or kumkum is considered symbolic of the divine feminine energy and is associated with goddesses Lakshmi, Saraswati, and Parvathi. 

As a traditional practice, priests perform Laksha Kumkumarchana before the major temple festival, the Brahmotsavams, seeking the blessings of the Sri Padmavathi Devi towards the smooth and successful conduct of all rituals and events.

At the Sri Krishna Mukha Mandapam, the priests performed the Laksha Kumkumarchana from 8 am till 12 noon.

As a part of it, the processional deity of Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru was seated on a platform and the religious ceremony was conducted in accordance with Agama traditions. 

During the ritual, the priests recited Lakshmi Ashtottaram and Lakshmi Sahasranamam while offering kumkuma to the deity. 

A large number of women devotees participated in this sacred seva.

The programme was attended by Temple Deputy EO Sri Harindranath, Pancharatra Agama Advisor Sri Manikantha Bhattar, Archaka Sri Babuswami, several other priests, officials, and devotees.

తిరుచానూరు శ్రీ పద్మావతి అమ్మవారి ఆలయంలో కార్తీక బ్రహ్మోత్సవాలను పురస్కరించుకుని ఆదివారం ఉదయం లక్ష కుంకుమార్చన సేవ వైభవంగా జరిగింది.


హిందూ సనాతన ధర్మంలో కుంకుమకు ఎనలేని ప్రాధాన్యత ఉంది. వివాహితురాలైన మహిళ నుదుట కుంకుమ ధరించడం వల్ల భర్త దీర్ఘాయుష్షు పొందుతాడని హిందూ ధర్మం చెబుతోంది. లక్ష్మీ, సరస్వతి, పార్వతి అమ్మవార్ల పేర్లతో పిలుస్తున్న శక్తి అమ్మవారికి ప్రతిరూపంగా సింధూరం లేదా కుంకుమకు ప్రాశస్త్యం ఉంది. అమ్మవారి ఆలయాల్లో బ్రహ్మోత్సవాలు లాంటి భారీ ఉత్సవాలను నిర్వహించే ముందు అర్చకులు లక్ష కుంకుమార్చన నిర్వహించడం సంప్రదాయం. ఈ విశిష్టమైన సేవ ద్వారా అమ్మవారు ప్రసన్నమై ఉత్సవాలు ఎలాంటి ఆటంకాలు లేకుండా విజయవంతంగా జరిగేలా ఆశీర్వదిస్తారని అర్చకులు తెలిపారు.

 ఆలయంలోని శ్రీకృష్ణ ముఖ మండపంలో శ్రీ పద్మావతి అమ్మవారిని ఆశీనులను చేసి ఉదయం 8 నుంచి మధ్యాహ్నం 12 గంటల వరకు అర్చకులు శాస్త్రోక్తంగా లక్ష కుంకుమార్చన సేవ నిర్వహించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా అర్చకులు లక్ష్మీ అష్టోత్తరం, లక్ష్మీ సహస్రనామాలను వల్లిస్తూ అమ్మవారిని కుంకుమతో అర్చన చేశారు. పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో మహిళలు ఈ సేవలో పాల్గొన్నారు.

ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో  ఆలయ డెప్యూటీ ఈవో శ్రీ హరీంద్రనాథ్, పాంచరాత్ర ఆగమసలహాదారు శ్రీ మ‌ణికంఠ భ‌ట్టర్‌, అర్చకులు శ్రీ బాబుస్వామి, పలువురు అర్చకులు, ఇత‌ర అధికారులు, భక్తులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

Kanchi Mutt Pontiff Kanchi Mutt Pontiff H.H.Sri Sri Viyendra Saraswathi had the blessings of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on Sunday morning.  TTD Chairman Sri BR Naidu, EO TTD Sri Anil Kumar Singhal, Addl EO Sri Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary welcomed him with temple honours. He rendered the vinjamara seva to lord balaji.
