Patients living below the poverty line (BPL) are identified and selected for free treatment by the SV Pranadanam Selection Committee. Initially, a consultant doctor conducts a preliminary examination and verifies health cards and official records. After estimating the treatment cost and obtaining approval, medical services are provided.
Cases forwarded by the Director-cum-Vice Chancellor of SVIMS are verified and registered on the Dr. NTR Vaidya Seva Trust portal. In emergency cases, treatment is provided immediately after quick verification.
Expansion of Blood Donation Services
The SV Pranadanam Trust, which began blood donation services in 2007, has been actively promoting voluntary blood donation. The Trust distributes free blood and blood components, encourages voluntary blood donation, provides emergency services, and conducts awareness programmes.
Blood collected through blood banks under the purview of TTD is provided completely free of cost. These services especially help pregnant women, accident victims, cardiac surgery patients, thalassemia children, and patients requiring emergency surgeries, thereby saving many precious lives.
Participation of Devotees
With the slogan “One Unit of Blood – Hope for Three Lives”, awareness programmes are conducted to encourage youth to donate blood. Devotees visiting Tirumala are also participating in blood donation and making their pilgrimage even more meaningfull.
The Trust operates with complete transparency under the supervision of TTD, strictly following national medical standards in the processes of blood collection, storage, testing, and distribution.
A Message to Society
