Grand Ugadi celebrations will be conducted at Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple, Tiruchanoor on March 19.
On this occasion, Kalyanotsavam will be performed at 10:00 AM and Abhishekam to the Utsava idols will be conducted at the Sri Krishna Swamy Mukha Mandapam from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
In the evening, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, the Goddess will bless devotees by taking a procession in the Pushpa Pallaki (floral palanquin) through the four Mada Streets surrounding the temple.
Later, Panchanga Sravanam will be held from 8:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
On account of the celebrations, VIP Break Darshan, Kumkumarchana, and Unjal Seva have been cancelled by TTD for the day.

Ugadi celebrations marking the Sri Parabhava Nama Samvatsaram will be held grandly on March 19 at Mahati Kalakshetram, Tirupati, under the joint auspices of the TTD Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad and the Welfare Department.
The programme will commence at 9:30 AM with Mangala Dhwani presented by the SV College of Music and Dance. This will be followed by Veda Parayanam by scholars from the SV Higher Vedic Studies Institute.
At 10:05 AM, eminent scholars will present the Panchanga Sravanam, followed by a Kavi Sammelanam (poets’ meet).
Subsequently Dr. Poojari Varalakshmi will present Bhagavad Gita Anushtanam, Sri Hema Venkata Narayana will perform Bhagavad Gita Ashtavadhanam and Cultural programmes will be presented by the children of TTD employees
Prizes will be distributed to winners of various competitions conducted for employees. The programme will conclude with the distribution of Ugadi Pachadi as prasadam.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, the TTD Chairman Sri B.R. Naidu said that participating in the Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam is a blessing earned through merits of previous births.
The TTD Additional EO Sri Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary stated that it is customary to conduct Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam on the Tuesday preceding major festivals viz. Ugadi, Anivara Asthanam, annual Brahmotsavams, and Vaikunta Ekadasi.
He informed that the Moolavirat was covered with a cloth and the temple purification rituals were performed.
As part of the ritual, a sacred aromatic mixture prepared using Namakoppu, Srichurnam, musk turmeric, camphor Kichiligadda (an aromatic tuber), camphor, sandalwood powder, kumkum, and other fragrant substances were diluted in water and sprinkled throughout the temple premises.
After the purification process, the cloth covering the Moolavirat was removed, and special pujas and Naivedyam were offered as per Agama procedures by the priests. Subsequently, devotees were allowed for darshan.
Several Board Members, JEO (Health & Education) Dr. Sharath, CVSO Sri Muralikrishna, Temple Deputy EO Sri Lokanatham, and other officials participated in the programme.

The annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Kodandarama Swamy will be held grandly for nine days from March 27 to April 5.
After the state bifurcation, Sri Ramanavami celebrations are being conducted as a State Festival at Vontimitta.
Under the supervision of TTD, Sri Ramanavami celebrations including the celestial wedding of Lord Sri Rama have been conducted since 2016.
Temple inscriptions say that the construction of the temple began in the 14th century and was completed in the 17th century.
King Bukkaraya started the construction of this temple in 1356 AD.
Later, the Vijayanagara rulers built the inner sanctum structures, Ranga Mandapam, Maha Pranganam and the temple Gopuram.
Arrangements for Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam on April 1
On behalf of the State Government, Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu will offer silk clothes to the deities.
Devotees attending the Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam will be given Srivari Laddu Prasadam worth ₹50 free of cost.
Annaprasadam, drinking water and buttermilk packets will be distributed to devotees.
District officials and TTD are jointly making arrangements for the Brahmotsavams.
The Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam will be telecast live worldwide through SVBC.
Electrical illumination, LED lighting and public address systems are being arranged at a cost of ₹4 crore.
Steps are being taken to construct a 108-feet statue of Jambavantha with an estimated cost of ₹20.17 crore.
As part of the Master Plan, 100 rooms will be constructed at a cost of ₹37 crore for devotees.
As per the directions of Chief Minister Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu, Annaprasadam will be served to devotees three times a day at Vontimitta from today.
Annaprasadam Distribution Centre Inaugurated
TTD Chairman Sri B.R. Naidu inaugurated the Annaprasadam distribution centre arranged opposite the Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple at Ontimitta. He said that the centre was established following the directions of Chief Minister Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu last year to ensure continuous distribution of food to devotees visiting the temple during Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam.
A German shed has been installed so that devotees can sit comfortably and receive Annaprasadam.
TTD Chairman Offers Prayers
Earlier, the TTD Chairman had darshan of Sri Kodandarama Swamy at the temple. Temple officials and priests welcomed him traditionally on his arrival and later presented him with Teertha Prasadam after the darshan.
Inspection of Kalyana Vedika
The TTD Chairman also inspected the arrangements being made for the Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam scheduled on April 1. He instructed the officials to ensure comfortable arrangements for devotees, including proper entry and exit routes, security arrangements, Annaprasadam distribution and facilities for devotees to witness the Kalyanam peacefully.
