Infosys Cofounder Lauds Hrudalaya

 Infosys cofounder and former TTD board member, Smt Sudha Narayana Murthy lauded the services and environment at the Sri Padmavati Hrudayalaya as superior than the corporate hospitals in the country.

 

During her visit to the hospital on Tuesday morning, she went around the ICU, General wards, Operation Theatres and also interacted with parents and children who had come from Bangladesh and West Bengal.

 

Smt Narayana Murthy lauded the free services and quality medical procedures performed at the Children's hospital and appreciated the doctors and para-medical staff for their selfless and committed services.

 

Speaking on the occasion, TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy said over 500 heart procedures have been performed within 6 months span since the inception of the hospital wherein even a few days (six days) old infants were also successfully treated.

 

He said the SPH was fully geared to undertake heart transplant operations costing 20-25 lakhs and TTD was making efforts to procure the sophisticated equipments needed.

 

JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, Hospital Director Dr Srinath Reddy, RMO Dr Bharat participated in the program.

 

GREATNESS OF INDIA- SAYS SMT NARAYANA MURTHY

 

Speaking to a Bangladeshi patient from Dhaka, Mohammed Abul Kasan Smt Narayana Murthy said that it was the greatness of India that with the benign blessings of Sri Venkateswara Swamy free medical services are provided to anyone on humanitarian grounds irrespective of their caste, creed and religion.

 

Kasan’s five-year-old daughter Shaheeba, with a hole in the heart has been admitted for the operation and he complimented the hospital and TTD both for their hospitality, services and other facilities.

 

He said after sending Child's medical records on email, Dr Srinath Reddy had asked them to come on July 24 and operation was performed on July 29 without a single paisa expenditure. He also complimented the doctors and para-medical staff for their dedication in extending the quality services.

On the auspicious occasion of Garuda Panchami on Tuesday, Garuda Seva was observed with celestial gaiety in Tirumala.

 

Sri Malayappa blessed His devotees on mighty Garuda vahanam along the mada streets.

Raj Bhavan begins Har Ghar Tiranga celebrations

Hyderabad, Aug 2: Hon’ble Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan on Tuesday appealed to the people to gear up for the grand celebration of Har Ghar Tiranga.

The Governor distributed the National Flags to the Raj Bhavan sanitation staff at a special function held at the Raj Bhavan, here.

Referring to the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative, she stated that it would be a right opportunity for all of our country people to showcase and celebrate the vibrant democracy of our nation and cherish its 75 years of independence.

On the occasion, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan has also distributed clothes and other material to the sanitation staff of the Raj Bhavan and the GHMC sanitation workers who offer their services in and around the Raj Bhavan.

The gesture was in view of the recent flood situation and suffering caused to the sanitation staff.

The Governor also urged the people to take the precaution dose for the COVID-19 as part of the free distribution of the precaution dose being given across the country.

Referring to the ongoing Breastfeeding Week campaign, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan appealed for better awareness about the benefits of the breastfeeding for the healthy future of the child and the mother.

Ayurvedic Expert Lauds TTD Efforts in Promoting The Ancient Science



The Central Ayurveda Research Institute Director Dr N Srikanth on Monday lauded the Research and Development activity by TTD in promoting Ayurvedic sciences.

 

He visited the Ayurveda Pharmacy, Ayurveda College and hospital run by the TTD and interacted with the students and faculty members.

 

Speaking on the occasion he said there are 31 Ayurveda institutions across the country conducting major research for new formulations and said the Union Government would whole-heartedly support the R&D efforts by the SV Ayurveda college.

 

JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, Principal of SV Ayurveda College Dr Murali Krishna, Vice-Principal Dr Sundaram and Dr Sri Durga were also present. 

 

Student Could Achieve Wonders With Planned Activities - TTD(E&H) JEo

 TTD JEO (Education &Health) Smt Sada Bhargavi has exhorted that girl students could do wonders if they select sectors of their choice and undertake planned activities to achieve their goals.

 

Participating as chief guest at the 70th anniversary of the Sri Padmavati Women's Degree and PG College on Monday, the JEO said TTD was the only institution in the country, which strived to promote education besides Sanatana Hindu Dharma.

 

She said the SPWDPG College had recently bagged the NAAC recognition and thanked the lecturers, staffs, students and others who made it possible.

 

She called upon students to consider the educational facilities being provided by TTD as a blessing of Sri Venkateswara Swamy and study well.

 

She said the students of TTD educational institutions particularly the SPWDPG college has a unique recognition of the stellar teaching environment, expert faculty etc.

 

Another guest, Professor Mohammed Hussein, Registrar of SV University recalled the glory of Taxila University and the Vedic science which had knowledge on nano technology, Aeroplanes, missiles and Sun. He appealed to students to take cue from Swami Vivekananda and achieve their goals in studies.

 

TTD DEO Sri Govindarajan, College Principal Dr Mahadevamma, Professor Bhuwaneswari Devi, College council president Kumari Anjuman Rehman, college Faculty and students were also present.

Parusaivari Thototsavam Held






In connection with Andal Sri Godai Tiruvadipuram Sattumora, Purusaivari Tototsavam held with religious fervour in Tirumala on Monday evening.

 

After Sahasra Deepalankara Seva, Sri Malayappa flanked by His two consorts Sri and Bhu Devis visited Purusaivari Thota and received worship.

 

Both the senior and junior Pontiffs of Tirumala participated in this fete and later released Anantalwar Vaibhavm book on the occasion.
