TTD Board Chief Takes Part in Sila Sangrahanam



Tirupati, 4 July 2019: TTD Trust Board Chief YV Subba Reddy on Thursday took part in Sila Sangrahanam programme at Ramapuram near Tirupati. 

Special Pujas,  Homams were performed on the occasion of Sila Sangrahanam,  where in the Acharya Purushas also performed Abhishekam to the stone meant to prepare the Mula Murthy Vigraham.

Speaking on this occasion,  the TTD Trust Board Chairman said,  the preparation of the stone idols of Mula Virat-the presiding deity at the upcoming Sri Venkateswara Divyakshetram at Amaravathi commenced today in an Agamic manner through a traditional programme called Sila Sangrahanam. 

He said,  about 18 expert sculptors from Neiveli and Namakkal of Tamilnadu will carve and sculpt the idols of Sri Venkateswara Swamy,  Vakulamata,  Garudalwar, Jaya-Vijaya and others in next six months time.  We will speed up the ongoing works at Amaravarhi temple.  We have plans to construct temples event at Dalit and BC colonies to promote Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Cult", he maintained. 

Later he paved a visit to Sri Padmavathi Nilayam bulding at Tiruchanoor,  the Pilgrim Amenities Complex built by TTD.
