Vakulamata Rest House and New Pac Opened

Tirumala, 2 Oct. 19: TTD Trust Board Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy inaugurated the new Matrusri Vakulamata Rest House constructed at a cost of Rs.42.86crores on Wednesday in Tirumala.

This five-storied complex has 54 rooms on each floor and accommodates 1400 devotees.

Later the Chairman also laid the foundation stone to PAC 5 located on the back of Govardhan Choultry (PAC 1) at Tirumala. 

The complex will come up at a cost of Rs.79crores and will be constructed in one and a half year's time.

Speaking to media persons he said, the Honourable CM of AP Sri YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has instructed to open the Vakulamata Rest House to cater to the needs of pilgrims during Brahmotsavams. Both the rest houses will reduce the accommodation woes of devotees in the future, he added. 

Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy,  Tirupati JEO Sri P Basant Kumar, CE Sri Ramachandra Reddy,  SEs Sri Ramesh Reddy,  Sri Sriramulu and others were also present.
