Special Festivals in Sri Kodanada Rama Swamy Vari Temple

Several special festivals will be observed at  Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple in Tirupati in August. 

•  On Saturdays of August 02, 09, 16, 23, 30, the abhishekam will be performed for the main deities of Sri Sita Rama and Lakshmana at 6 am. At 5.30 pm, the ceremonial idols of will be taken out along the four madha streets of the temple on Tiruchi.

•  On August 09, on the occasion of the full moon, Ashtottara Kalasabhishekam will be performed to the Utsava idols of Sri Sita Rama and Lakshmana at 9.30 am, and the Tiruchi and Asthanam at Sri Ramachandra Pushkarini at 6.30 pm.

•  Sri Krishnashtami Asthanam will be held on August 16.

•  Utlotsavam will be held on August 18.

•  Sri Sitarama Kalyanam will be held on August 20 at 11 am on the occasion of Punarvasu Nakshatra.  

•  Sahasra Kalashabhishekam will be performed on August 23 at 9 am on the occasion of Amavasya. Hanumantha Vahana Seva will be performed at 7 pm.
