Annamayya Kirtan to be Made More Accessible to the Youth - TTD Eo

TTD EO Sri J. Syamala Rao has instructed the officials concerned to take steps to make the poems of the great saint poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya more accessible to the youth. 

He held a review with the concerned officials along with TTD JEO Sri Veerabraham in the Executive Officer Chamber in the TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati on Wednesday evening.

Speaking on the occasion, the EO suggested that competitions be organized on Annamayya Kirtans at the regional, district and state levels to involve the youth. 

He said that in this way, Annamayya Kirtans can be taken to the masses.    He also directed that steps should be taken to provide Annamayya kirtans to the new generation through a digital system in accordance with the changes in the technological field over time.

Hindu Dharmic Project Special Officer Sri Rajagopal, Annamacharya Project Director Dr. C. Latha, SV Recording Project Special Officer Dr Vibhishana Sharma were  also present.
