Sravana Upakarma Held in Sri Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple

Sravana Upakarma was observed with religious fervour in Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple on Saturday in connection with the auspicious occasion of Sravana Pournami.

Both the Utsava deities of Sri Govindaraja Swamy and Sri Krishna Swamy were taken to Alwarthirtham in Kapila Theertham temple and were offered Snapana Tirumanjanam followed by Homan and Asthanam.

Later the deities returned to the Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple.

Both the Pontiffs of Tirumala temple, Temple officials, priests and devotees were present.
