As part of the annual Salakatla Brahmotsavams at Tirumala, on the first evening on Wednesday, Sri Malayappa Swamy, flanked by His consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi, blessed devotees in Paramapada Vaikunthanatha Alankaram on the seven-hooded golden Sesha Vahanam.
Adisesha, spreading his multiple hoods like a royal canopy, symbolically rendered his eternal servitude to His Master. Known as the closest and dearest to Sri Maha Vishnu, Adisesha incarnated as Lakshmana during Ramavatara and as Balarama in Dwapara Yuga.
Carrying Sri Malayappa along with His divine consorts, Pedda Sesha Vahanam offered devotees a celestial vision on the first evening of Brahmotsavams.
