The three-day Pavithrotsavams at Sri Govindarajaswamy Temple in Tirupati concluded grandly on Friday with the performance of Poornahuti.
From 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Snapana Tirumanjanam was conducted with milk, curd, honey, sandal paste, tender coconut water, and various fruit juices, offered ceremoniously to the deities.
In the evening, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., the processional deities were taken out in a grand Tiruveedhi Utsavam. Later, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Vedic rituals, Poornahuti, Prabandha Sattumora, and Veda Sattumora were observed at the Yagashala. From 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., the deities and the holy Kalasa were ceremoniously brought back to the main sanctum in a Vimana Pradakshinam.
Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyangar, Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyangar, Temple Deputy EO Smt. V.R. Shanthi, AEO Sri A.B. Narayana Chowdhary, temple priests were present.
