The Navaratri celebrations of Sri Kamakshi Ammavaru will be conducted with grandeur at Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple, Tirupati, from September 22 to October 02. On each day, the deity will bless devotees in a distinct alankaram.
Necessary arrangements are being made in the temple premises for the smooth conduct of the festivities.
As part of the program, Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam will be performed on September 18 from 11:30 am to 2:30 p.m. The celebrations will commence on September 22, from 6 pm to 8pm with Ganapati Puja, Punyahavachanam, Ankurarpanam, Nava Kalasha Sthapanam, and Vastu Puja.
The schedule of daily alankarams is as follows:
September 23 – Sri Kamakshi Devi
September 24 – Sri Adi Parashakti
September 25 – Mavadi Seva Alankaram
September 26 – Sri Gayatri Alankaram
September 27 – Bala Tripura Sundari
September 28 – Sri Mahalakshmi Ammavaru
September 29 – Sri Annapurna Devi
September 30 – Sri Mahishasura Mardini
October 1 – Sri Saraswati Devi
October 2 – Sri Shivaparvati Alankaram
On the concluding day on October 02, Parveta Utsavam will be organized at 6 p.m. in the premises of Sri Abhayahasta Anjaneyaswamy Temple.
In connection with these festivities, devotional music concerts, pravachanams on Devi Bhagavatam, and recitations of Lalita Sahasranama will be conducted under the auspices of TTD Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad and Annamacharya Project.
