TTD Joint Executive Officer Sri V. Veerabrahmam directed officials to make elaborate arrangements for the Brahmotsavams of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy at Srinivasamangapuram. The Brahmotsavams will be held from February 8 to 16. On Wednesday, the JEO conducted a review meeting at the temple with officials regarding the arrangements.
On this occasion, the JEO said that the Brahmotsavams, which will commence with Dwajarohanam on February 8 and conclude with Dwajavarohanam on February 16, should be conducted flawlessly without any compromise. He instructed officials to undertake extensive publicity through campaign vehicles in the surrounding villages of Srinivasamangapuram.
He advised that arrangements should be made on the lines of Tirumala in an attractive manner to draw devotees. He also instructed that wide publicity be carried out through SVBC and social media on the uniqueness of the Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Srinivasamangapuram, the Brahmotsavams and the significance of the Vahana Sevas. He further suggested that attractive electrical illuminations be arranged in the main areas of Tirupati and in all directions around Srinivasamangapuram.
As part of the Brahmotsavams, on February 12, the day of Garuda Seva, he instructed officials to inspect in advance the routes for the procession of the Lakshmi Haram Shobha Yatra and Goddadevi flower garlands that will be brought for adornment. He also directed that, under the auspices of the Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad, Annamacharya Project and Dasa Sahitya Project, daily spiritual and religious programmes be organized, along with bhajans and kolatams before the Vahana Sevas, to attract devotees.
He instructed officials of the concerned departments to coordinate and make arrangements regarding the fitness of the Vahana Sevas, parking facilities, floral decorations, queue lines, cooling shelters, mobile toilets, sanitation, paramedical staff, Annaprasadams, Srivari Sevaks and other related facilities.
The JEO further directed TTD Vigilance and Chandragiri Police to coordinate and ensure robust security arrangements and proper traffic regulation. He advised Temple Special Grade Deputy EO Smt. Varalakshmi, Temple Special Officer and CPRO Dr. Ravi to coordinate with other departments to ensure the successful conduct of the Brahmotsavams.
Later, the JEO inspected the ongoing arrangements in the four Mada streets of the temple and the Vahana Mandapam along with engineering officials and offered several suggestions.
Temple priests Sri Balaji Rangacharyulu, Deputy EOs Smt. V.R. Shanthi, Sri Selvam, SVBC In-charge CEO Sri D. Phanikumar Naidu, SE (Electrical) Sri Venkateswarlu, VGO Sri Giridhar, Additional Health Officer Dr. Sunil, AEO Sri Gopinath and other officials participated in the meeting.
