Traimasika Metlotsavam Commences

TTD Dasasahitya Project Special Officer Sri P.R. Ananda Theerthacharyulu said that chanting the holy names of Sri Venkateswara Swamy helps removing unrest in society. 

He was speaking at the inauguration of the three-day Sri Vari Trimasika Metlotsavam, organized under the aegis of the TTD Dasa Sahitya Project, which commenced in a grand manner at the Asthana Mandapam in Tirumala on Sunday.

As part of the programme, various activities including spiritual training, Haridasa kirtanas, competitions and musical events are being conducted. 

About 3,000 bhajana mandali members from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka participated in the event.
