TTD JEO (H&E) Arrangements for International Women Day Celebrations




TTD JEO (Health & Education) Dr. A. Sharath reviewed the arrangements for the ensuing International Women’s Day celebrations which is scheduled to be held on March 09 this year under the auspices of TTD at Mahati Auditorium in Tirupati.


The review meeting was held at the Conference Hall of the Administrative Building in Tirupati on Friday.


The JEO instructed the officials concerned to make elaborate arrangements to celebrate the occasion in a grand manner with the coordination of women officers and staff. 


He reviewed the responsibilities of the Organizing, Speakers, Purchase, Cultural, Invitation and Food Committees constituted for the event.


He also directed that experts from various fields be invited as guest speakers. Further, he suggested increasing the number of Padmavati Awards to be presented to TTD women employees this year and selecting the awardees based on merit and performance from all categories.


The JEO also directed that the programme should begin with Vedic blessings of Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple and conclude with a cultural dance presentation titled Sri Padmavati Vaibhavam, depicting the glory of Sri Padmavati Devi.


Welfare Department Deputy EO Sri Anand Raju, Women officers and HoDs of various departments, women employees’ association leaders and women employees attended the meeting.
