As part of the annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Kodandarama Swamy in Tirupati, the devotional music and dance programs organised on Saturday at the cultural stage in the temple premises captivated devotees and enhanced the spiritual grandeur of the festivities.
From 6:00 PM to 7:15 PM, a Veena concert presented by Smt. Y. Sreevani, faculty member of SV College of Music and Dance, along with her troupe, immersed the audience in deep devotion. The melodious notes beautifully resonated with devotion to Lord Sri Rama and enthralled the devotees.
Later, from 7:15 PM to 8:30 PM, a Bharatanatyam dance performance by the disciples of Smt. M. Uma Muddu Bala, Principal of SV College of Music and Dance, impressed the audience with their graceful and expressive movements.
The troupe प्रस्तुतed a series of captivating dance items including “Pushpanjali,” “Sri Vighnarajam Bhaje,” “Srirangapura Vihara,” “Jathiswaram,” “Sri Rama Doota,” “Sita Rama Varnam,” “Sri Ramachandra Kripalu,” “Rama Dasaratha Rama,” “Adivo Alladivo,” and “Tillana,” showcasing a fine blend of devotion and artistry.
These programs, a harmonious fusion of music and dance, not only elevated the devotional spirit among the devotees but also reflected the spiritual splendor of the Brahmotsavams.
