On Saturday, TTD Additional EO Sri Ch. VenkaiahChowdary, along with Kadapa District Collector Sri Cherukuri Sridhar, TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, District SP Sri Sachiket Vishwanath, and TTD CVSO Sri Muralikrishna, conducted a field level inspection of the arrangements for the grand Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam scheduled to be held on April 1 at Vontimitta.
As part of the Kalyanotsavam, Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu and his spouse will offer Pattu Vastrams to Sri Kodandarama Swamy. In this connection, officials inspected the Kalyana Vedika, helipad, and temple surroundings.
Later, the Additional EO and District Collector held a coordination meeting with TTD and district officials at a nearby conference hall.
Addressing the officials, the Additional EO emphasized the need for coordination among all departments to ensure the successful conduct of the event. He directed that the Command Control Room function efficiently to prevent any inconvenience to devotees.
He stated that feedback will be collected from devotees across various departments regarding the arrangements, and necessary measures will be taken to resolve issues promptly. He instructed the administrative machinery to remain alert and ensure smooth execution of the Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam.
The District Collector also reviewed preparedness with officials from engineering, electrical, police, fire services, NDRF, medical, APSRTC, and public relations departments, directing them to be fully prepared for the event.
Considering the summer heat and possible dehydration among devotees, medical teams were instructed to keep necessary medicines and ambulances ready.
Arrangements for distribution of Annaprasadam, drinking water, and buttermilk to devotees were also emphasized.
TTD, district, and police officials participated in the program.
