The sacred Sri Sitaramula Kalyanam was celebrated with grandeur on Saturday night at Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple, Tirupati. TTD Executive Officer Sri M. Ravichandra participated in the ceremony.
The priests first performed Punyahavachanam, Sadyah Ankurarpanam, Rakshabandhanam, and Visesha Aradhana. This was followed by Rakshabandhanam, Agni Pratishtha, Madhuparkam, Kanyadanam, Mahasankalpam, Mangalyapuja, Mangalyadharana, Ukta Homams, Poornahuti, Nivedana, Akshatarohanam, Mutyala Talambralu Samarpana, Visesha Nivedana, Malamarpidi, Harati, Chaturveda Parayanam, and Vedic blessings to the Yajamani. After the rituals, the divine couple’s procession was held in the temple premises.
Presentation of Ornaments from Tirumala Temple
On this occasion, Sri Venkateswara Temple, Tirumala presented ornaments worth ₹62.44 lakhs — including a golden Gajalakshmi medallion and two silver lamp pillars.
These were brought by Tirumala officials — Peskar Ramakrishna and Bokkasa In-charge Sri Gururaj Swamy — and handed over to the temple’s Deputy EO Smt. Nagaratna.
Temple Inspector Sri Suresh and a large number of devotees participated in the event.
