Special Festivals at Sri Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple in April

Several special festivals are scheduled to be held at the Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple in Tirupati during the month of April. The details are as follows:

* April 10 and 24 (Fridays): At 6:00 PM, a procession of Sri Andal Ammavaru will be held along the four Mada streets of the temple.

* April 12 (Shravana Nakshatram): On the occasion of Shravana Nakshatram, Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy, along with His consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi, will go on a procession through the four *Mada streets at 6:00 PM to bless the devotees.

* April 13 to 22: Sri Bhashyakarla Utsavam (Festival of Sri Ramanujacharya) will be conducted.

*  April 20 (Rohini Nakshatram): On the occasion of Rohini Nakshatram, Sri Parthasarathi Swamy, along with Rukmini and Satyabhama, will go on a procession through the *Mada streets at 6:00 PM to bless the devotees.

*  April 21 to 30: Sri Madhurakavi Alwar and Sri Anantalwar Utsavam will be organized.

*  April 23: Sri Bhashyakarla Gandhapu Podi Utsavam (Sandalwood Powder Festival) and the Thirunakshatram (Birth Anniversary) of Sri Mudaliyandan Swamy (Dasharathi) will be observed.

* April 28 to 30: Buggotsavam will be celebrated at the Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple.
