TTD Executive Officer Sri Muddada Ravi Chandra said that practising yoga daily helps achieve physical fitness, mental growth and inner peace.
Participating in the International Day of Yoga celebrations held at the Parade Grounds behind the TTD Administrative Building on Sunday, the EO emphasized that yoga should become a part of everyone's daily routine. He noted that TTD employees serving lakhs of devotees can lead healthier and happier lives through regular yoga practice.
The EO appreciated the employees, staff and students who actively participated in the 14-day yoga training programme conducted from June 7 to 21. He also released the “Dhyanamoolamidam Jagat” CD, the book “Yoga – An Introduction,” and a brochure prepared by SVIMS.
TTD JEO Dr. A. Sharath said the extended 14-day programme received an encouraging response and urged employees to continue practising yoga regularly.
Certificates were presented to outstanding participants. TTD Board Member Sri Nannapaneni Sadasiva Rao, HDPP In-charge Secretary Dr. Medasani Mohan, CVSO Sri K.V. Muralikrishna, SVIMS Director Dr. R.V. Kumar, officials, employees and students attended the programme.
