SVIMS, BIRRD And Paediatric Cardiac Hospitals Are Centres of Hope for The Country - NBE VP Dr Bajipee

 The TTD-run super specialty hospital of SVIMS, BIRRD and SPCHC are the centres of hope for the country with their world-class standards of medical services, said Dr Minu Bajpayee, the Executive Director of National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences(NBEMS).

 

Dr Bajpayee along with the TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy and JEO for Health and Education Smt Sada Bhargavi visited the SPCHC and BIRRD hospitals in Tirupati on Thursday

 

Later speaking to the media persons at BIRRD he lauded the committed services of TTD in the area of patient care by establishing world-class hospitals with expert doctors who are rendering impeccable services to the needy. "This entire region is really fortunate to have such state of art hospitals with international standards. These hospitals are Centres of hope to the nation in the field of medicine", he asserted.

 

Dr Bajpayee expressed immense happiness over the services of SPCHC for doing over 1300 heart operations to the children including Heart Transplantation.

He also complimented BIRRD for knee cap transplants and treatment of other Ortho ailments at the institute.

 

Briefing about the NBEMS activities he said the NBEMS aims at promoting fellowships in specialists, skill development and the union health ministry has provided 14 fellowships so far which will be granted in May besides providing training in Artificial Intelligence and Mission Learning.

 

He complimented both the Director of SPCHC Dr Srinath Reddy and his team and the OSD BIRRD, Dr Reddeppa Reddy and his team for carrying out the surgeries with finesse and expertise with commitment.

 

Earlier he went round the hospitals and interacted with parents.

 

TTD EE Sri Krishna Reddy, Dr Ganapathi, Dr Ramamurthy, Dr Pradeep, Dr Venugopal and others were also present.

TTD TO Take Ayurveda to Newer Heights - TTD Chairman













With a motto to give a boost to the ancient Ayurvedic Medicine, TTD has constructed new pharmacy building besides renovating the old ones to bring more and more Ayurvedic products to the public fore, said TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy.


Speaking to the media after inaugurating the new pharmacy building in Sri Srinivasa Ayurvedic Pharmacy at Narasingapuram along with TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy on Friday, the Chairman said in 1990 TTD has established Ayurvedic Pharmacy in a sprawling 14.75acres land.


"Initially only ten products used to be produced from this pharmacy which has now enhanced to 80. 


With an aim to promote Ayurvedic medicine further, we have constructed a new pharmacy building and renovated old ones at Rs. 3.90cr.


With this facelift, henceforth Rs. 5cr worth products will be manufactured every year as against the 1.5cr products which used to be earlier. "Now we can distribute our Ayur medicines to Ayush pharmacies in the state of AP apart from TTD requirements, he added.


Very soon a Drug Testing Lab will also be set up and TTD is contemplating bringing the Ayur products to the public.

In future we are gearing up to manufacture 314 more products'', he maintained.


JEO for Health and Education Smt Sada Bhargavi, CE Sri Nageswara Rao, EE Sri Murali Krishna, Ayurvedic college Principal Dr Murali Krishna, Medical Superintendent Dr Renu Dixit,  Pharmacy Chief Dr Narappa Reddy and others were also present.

314 New Products from TTD Ayurveda Pharmacy

 An exercise is underway to manufacture 314 new medicines from TTD Ayurveda Pharmacy in Narasingapuram soon, said TTD JEO(H&E) Smt Sada Bhargavi.


Along with the officials, the JEO inspected the expansion works of the Ayurvedic Pharmacy at Narasingapuram on Saturday evening. Speaking on this occasion she said that in the first phase, a new shed will be opened on March 31, which will be equipped with advanced machines to manufacture 10 types of medicines. 


She said the management has decided to manufacture additional 314 types of medicines to provide modern medicine to the patients. According to this, the pharmacy is being developed with Rs.5 crores, she said. She said that 30 types of medicines are currently being produced in the pharmacy. Recently 314 drug formulas have received certification from AYUSH.


JEO said that apart from providing medicines manufactured in SV Ayurveda Pharmacy to patients in TTD Ayurveda Hospital, the Ministry of AYUSH has given permission to the government to pay 50 percent of the production cost of the medicines.


Earlier, the JEO inspected the installation of new machines and the sheds constructed in the premises of the pharmacy. Various instructions were given to the officials by JEO regarding the raw materials required for the 10 types of products to be launched on 31st, as well the engineering department regarding arches, sign boards, catalog etc.

Study Body Philosophy to Reach Your Goals Easily







Vaidya Jayant Yashwant Dev Pujari, the Chairman, the Commission for Indian Systems of Medicine said that if students understand their body philosophy and adopt the study method accordingly with dedication, they will be able to achieve the desired goal in an effortless manner.

During his visit to SV Ayurvedic Hospital on Friday evening,  Sri Pujari has given a detailed methodology to the students on how to study Ayurveda. Explaining the superiority of Ayurveda Samhita he narrated in detail that how they contribute to the study. He said that Ayurvedic medicine is gaining popularity all over the world and added that the best results can be achieved by researching and studying them thoroughly.


He inspected all the wards in the TTD-run SV Ayurvedic college and hospital and interacted with the patients undergoing treatment. Sri Pujari lauded the services of TTD.

Ayurveda Should Become A Compass for the World - Dr G Sateesh Reddy













The ancient medicine of Ayurveda should become a role model to the world in the field of Medicine in curing all sorts of ailments, strongly opinioned Dr G Satheesh Reddy, the Technical Adviser, Ministry of Defence.


He visited SV Ayurveda College and Hospital on Thursday. Addressing the students on this occasion, he asked them to examine the treatment methods and principles of Ayurveda through western technology and show the superiority of India with new innovations.  Students are expected to understand Ayurveda with dedication and hard work.


Earlier, he paid a visit to the various wards including Panchakarma treatment, Ksharasutra process and other treatment methods and interacted with the patients who were undergoing treatment in the hospital.


Later he lauded the services of the doctors', paramedical and office staff in both the hospital and at the college and also keeping the premises clean and hygienic.

TTD JEo (H&E) Presents Uttama Shodapatra Award


TTD JEO (Health and Education) Smt Sada Bhargavi on Saturday complimented Dr T Sirigeeta, a Research Associate and student of SV Ayurveda College who bagged "Uttama Shodapatra"(Best Research Paper) award.


Dr Sirigeeta a 2nd year PG student of the college had received the unique award for her research paper on Ayurvedic medicine for the prevention of the pandemic covid-19 presented at the international conference held between February 23-25 at the deemed University of Rashtriya Ayurveda Samsthan, at Jaipur, Rajasthan.


Her paper was presented at a conference attended by over 500 Ayurvedic experts focused on the scope of ayurvedic medicine in future.


College Principal Dr P Muralikrishna, HOD Dr Durga, Associate Professor Dr Ramesh Babu and others were present.
