Online Applications Invitedfor Admissions in TTD Junior Colleges from15th May




TTD  Education Officer Dr Bhaskar Reddy has stated that online applications are invited from eligible students for admissions to Sri Padmavathi Mahila Junior College and Sri Venkateswara Junior College in Tirupati for the academic year 2024-25.


He said in a statement that all online applications in English shall be made from May 15 to 3 and for the convenience of the students, the user manual and the prospectus of the respective colleges have been uploaded in Telugu and English on the TTD portal.

How to apply

As soon as the students open the official website, admission.tirumala.org, two boxes “Student Manual in English” or “Student Manual in Telugu” will appear. 

Students have to click on their desired box. The application process should be read and understood thoroughly. Then click on Junior College for the intermediate course. 

After clicking, English and Telugu boxes will appear on the screen. 

By clicking on the desired box, the groups in the two Junior colleges under TTD, the seats in them, the qualifications for admission, seat replacement procedure, guidelines and other details will be seen.

According to the details entered by the students, after the expiry of the deadline, based on their merit and reservation, the seat in the respective college will be temporarily allotted online and an SMS will be sent to the students. 

The authorities will upload the certificates of the student who got the seat into their system. If the details in the student's certificates are not correct or if they are not matched online, the seat will be cancelled and the application will be automatically deleted from the system. 

Hence the Students should upload the correct information online before the deadline and corrections are not allowed after the deadline. Therefore, TTD requests the students to carefully read the Student User Manual and College Prospectus and apply online carefully.

Students can clear technical queries like various groups in the courses, hostels, regulations etc. through the helpline while filling the application provided in the the admission.tirumala.org website, If you click  on further the phone numbers of the respective teachers will appear for the benefit of students to  clear their doubts if any in the respective topics

Personality Development Program Held







Renowned Motivational Expert Sri Satya Nagesh informed the TTD officials and other employees that this training program on personality development would help them to overcome their stress and render better services.


A training program on personality development was held to the TTD senior officers at SVETA on Thursday in Tirupati.


The expert speaker grabbed the attention of all with live interaction with interesting slides through PowerPoint presentation.


Earlier SVETA Director Sri Bhumana Subramanyam Reddy said that in the coming days, training programs will also be conducted on cyber crimes, social media misinformation etc.  He said that especially the health problems of priests and drivers will be studied and awareness programs will be organized for them too.  He said that such training programs are very useful for TTD employees.  

Phule Jayanthi Observed






TTD has observed the 197th Birth Anniversary of one of the great Social Reformers of 19th Century, Mahatma Jyotirao Govindrao Phule in Mahati Auditorium on Thursday.


DyEOs Sri Govindarajan, Sri Devendra Babu, Smt Snehalata recalled the great works of Phule in many fields. 


They said, his contributions included getting rid of untouchability and the caste system, encouraging women education and pioneered the same by making his wife Savitribai Phule to become the first teacher in India.


Later a few TTD employees also expressed their views on the impeccable efforts made by Mahatma Phule who formed the Satyashodhak Samaj (Society of Truth Seekers) with a goal to get equal rights for people from lower castes. It worked for the betterment of the oppressed classes. Mahatma Phule stood as inspiration to many other social reformers in the country including the Architect of Indian Constitution Dr BR Ambedkar.

Day 3 of Ramayana Kalpavrksam





Ramayana Kalpavrksam 2024
 signed off on a high note with the thrilling musical evening by popular group Indosoul by Karthick Iyer. Titled Rejoicing in Raghu - the band brought to life popular Karnatik music melodies in fusion music that had the audience dancing and clapping away. Earlier the well-known speaker Dushyant Sridhar spoke eloquently. Aabhas Maldahiyar's latest historical book - Babur - The Chessboard King was released, followed by a discussion by the author with writer Shivakumar, that touched many aspects of writing history.

 

According to Ananda Shankar Jayant, the curator of Ramayana Kalpavrksam ' The festival has been a grand success, with full house and standing ovations. The festival received blessings from Gurus, Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, who inaugurated the festival on 29th March. Revered spiritual gurus have also blessed this festival by sending their video messages of blessings. Daaji and Sharadapeetham, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha MahaswamiVaaru, Jagadguru Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati MahaswamiVaaru, Shri Shataavadhani Brahmashri Lalitaditya Garu sent a beautiful message. Their video messages were played. The morning workshop sessions too were well attended.

 

Many well-known artists, bureaucrats and industry leaders attended the 3-day festival and expressed that such multi arts festivals are much needed, to bring together our arts and knowledge together.

Potti Sriramulu -Pride of Telugu - TTD Museum Chief

Amarajeevi and a great Patriot Sri Pottu Sriramulu was an icon of Telugu Pride said TTD Chief Museum Officer Sri Krishna Reddy. 








Participating in the grand Sri Potti Sriramulu Jayanti fete held at Annamacharya Kala Mandira on Saturday as chief guest, he said Sriramulu was influenced by Mahatma Gandhi teachings and joined Sabarmati ashram and there onwards went to jail after Sslt and Quit India agitations. 


After several assignments as director of Gandhi Trust and a campaign for Dalit temple entry, he launched hunger satyagraha at Bulusu Sambamurthy home on Royapetah Road in Madras till his death. 


Speaking later CPRO DrT Ravi said the non-violent method adopted by him became a road model in the formation of linguistic states. 


Earlier several TTD employees also spoke and paid floral tributes to his portrait.


DyEO Welfare Department Smt Snehalata presided over the function attended by large number of employees.

Issuance of Annaprasadam Tokens Through PoS Machine





TTD JEO Sri Veerabraham on Wednesday started the issuance of tokens through the PoS machine for distribution of Annaprasadam.


The distribution of free Annaprasadam at Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati has started last week by TTD.


These machines have been installed under the auspices of the IT department of TTD to issue about 2000 per day to devotees.
