Adivi Sesh’s Pan India Film Major Gets Postponed Owing To The Aggravation Of The Covid Situation

 


Actor Adivi Sesh’s first Pan India film Major which was scheduled for a theatrical release on February 11, has been postponed owing to the aggravation of the covid situation and curfew/limitations in most parts of the country. The makers have announced the news officially.


“Owing to the aggravation of the covid situation and curfew/limitations in most parts of the country, the release of Major stands postponed. We would announce a new release date soon. Please adhere to all covid protocols and stay safe. Our nation isn’t safe, till each one of us is safe,” reads the official statement.

Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, the film was shot simultaneously in Telugu, Hindi and it will also be released in Malayalam. The film’s musical promotions kick-started recently with first single Hrudayama was unveiled recently. The song became a sensation. The visually stunning teaser shared earlier by the team struck a chord with the audience generating anticipation for the film. However, it stands postponed now.

Bringing to screen the untold story of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the multilingual film 'Major' traces the journey of Major Sandeep from childhood, teenage, glorious years in the army to the tragic events of the Mumbai attack where he martyred, touching upon the different aspects of his being.

Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi and Murli Sharma are the other prominent cast of the film produced by Sony Pictures Films India in association with Mahesh Babu's GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies.

Keerthy Suresh’s Good Luck Sakhi Theatrical Trailer Launched

 






National Award-Winning Actress Keerthy Suresh’s woman-centric sports rom-com film Good luck Sakhi is all set for its theatrical release on 28th of this month. Nagesh Kukunoor has directed the film where Aadhi Pinisetty will be seen as a male lead, while Jagapathi Babu essayed a crucial role. The film boasts proudly of a female dominated crew lead by co-producer Shravya Varma.


The makers today launched the theatrical trailer of the movie. The video begins with Jagapathi Babu announcing to make top shooters in the country. Keerthy Suresh is introduced as Bad Luck Sakhi as everyone in her village belief she brings bad luck to them. Aadhi recommends her name to Jagapathi Babu, though the villagers oppose this saying shooting is not meant for women. Proving herself to be bad luck Sakhi again, she fails at the big stage initially. Jagapathi Babu motivates her to achieve the goal.

The trailer looks impressive with inspiring content. Nagesh Kukunoor made this as a commercial movie incorporating all the commercial ingredients. Chirantan Das’ camera work is praiseworthy, wherein Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad is at his usual best. Production values of Worth A Shot Motion Arts are top-notch.

Coming to performances, Keerthy Suresh is super cool in village belle avatar and she played the role with ease, whereas Aadhi has got a meaty role. Jagapathi Babu makes his presence felt as her coach.

Good Luck Sakhi is a multi-lingual film made simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages. Popular producer Dil Raju is presenting the film while Sudheer Chandra Padiri is producing it on Worth A Shot Motion Arts banner.

Rashmika Mandanna launches an intriguing teaser of aha's upcoming web original Bhamakalapam, starring Priyamani

 



100% Telugu OTT platform aha, a household name for Telugu entertainment, will offer a feast of a thriller for audiences with their next web original film, Bhamakalapam, featuring Priyamani in the lead role (marking her Telugu OTT debut). This delicious home-cooked thriller, directed by Abhimanyu Tadimeti, will premiere on aha on February 11. Filmmaker Bharat Kamma, known for Dear Comrade, is the showrunner. Pushpa-fame actress Rashmika Mandanna unveiled the teaser of Bhamakalapam today. 


The teaser is set amid an old apartment, revolving around a homemaker Anupama, notorious for her gossip and sneaking into matters of other households. She even justifies why it's great fun to know what's going on in people's lives. In the middle of a rainy night, the focus shifts to cold-blooded murder in the apartment. There's a lot of mystery surrounding the crime scene, with a few characters expressing their worry about something. From goons to guns and chases, it's apparent that an anxious Anupama is in some trouble and is a key link to the murder. Where does this lead her to?

Priyamani plays a housewife who runs a popular Youtube cookery channel and the initial glimpses of the pulsating thriller hint that she's packed a punch with her performance in Bhamakalapam. John Vijay, Pammi Sai, Sharanya Pradeep and Pammi Sai too essay important roles in the film. Sudheer Edara and Bogavalli Bapineedu of SVCC Digital (Ashoka Vanam Lo Arjuna Kalyanam) have bankrolled Bhamakalapam. 

The makers had also released the film's first look poster and first glimpse recently that captured the imagination of audiences. Composer Justin Prabhakaran (known for Radhe Shyam, Dear Comrade) has scored the music, while Deepak Kumar has cranked the camera. Viplav is in charge of the edits.

MM Keeravani On Board To Score Music For KT Kunjumon’s Gentleman 2

 

 South India’s well-known producer KT Kunjumon who once made high budget movies like Gentleman, Kadhalan (Premikudu) and Kadhal Desam (Prema Desam) which were massive blockbusters both in Tamil and Telugu is making a comeback to film production.


The veteran producer who is known for his unique and aggressive promotional strategies had announced to make sequel for his superhit Gentleman under the distinguished production banner Gentleman Film International.

Kunjumon had also announced a contest on Twitter. He had asked movie buffs to guess the legendary musician who would be scoring music for his film titled Gentleman 2 with the hashtag #G2MusicDirector and said that three lucky winners would be rewarded with a gold coin each.

Today, Kunjumon announced that MM Keeravani will be the music director of Gentleman 2. He tweeted: "I proudly announce that the iconic legend of Indian cinema, MM Keeravani garu, will be the music director of my Gentleman Film International's 'Gentleman 2'. Gold coin winners will be announced."

Kunjumon who introduced S Shankar as director with Gentleman was renowned for suggesting the director to rewrite the climax of the movie based on the assassination of former Sri Lankan President Ranasinghe Premadasa.

The film Gentleman, which starred Arjun Sarja and Madhoo in the lead roles, threw light on corrupt politicians and the education system in India. After 27 years, the producer will be making the sequel, but with a different team.

As of now, only MM Keeranai is confirmed for the project. Other cast and crew will be announced later.

Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali Teaser Unleashed

 


Sudheer Babu and director Mohanakrishna Indraganti are working together for the third time for a beautiful and unique love story Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali where Krithi Shetty will be seen as the leading lady. B Mahendra Babu and Kiran Ballapalli are producing the movie under Benchmark Studios, in association with Mythri Movie Makers, while Gajulapalle Sudheer Babu presents it.


The makers have unleashed teaser of the movie. The video starts off with introduction of Sudheer Babu as a commercial filmmaker who delivered six consecutive superhits in 6 years. While he feels proud about his achievement, his friend mocks him for making routine and monotonous movies. Then, he happens to meet doctor Alekhya played by Krithi Shetty who is not his type and has strong aversion for movies. They start liking each other, though their tastes and mindsets are completely different. He wants to make a heroine centric movie with this girl who puts forth a condition to do it.

Indraganti divulged the film’s main theme with the teaser which impresses big time with mesmerizing story-telling. Sudheer Babu and Krithi Shetty are cool in their respective roles, wherein their chemistry is sizzling. PG Vinda beautifies the narrative with his camera work, while Vivek Sagar provided appealing BGM. Overall, the teaser takes expectations on the movie to another level.

Avasarala Srinivas, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Srikanth Iyengar and Kalyani Natarajan are the other prominent cast in the film.

The shoot of Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali was wrapped up and the film is currently in post-production stages. The makers will soon announce the release date.

Naga Shaurya, Anish R Krishna, Ira Creations Krishna Vrinda Vihari First Look Out

 



Handsome Actor Naga Shaurya who has been attempting wide variety of subjects and playing different roles is presently starring in a rom-com flick under the direction of Anish R Krishna with Ira Creations producing it.

On the occasion of hero Naga Shaurya’s birthday, the makers have unveiled title and also first look poster of the movie. Krishna Vrinda Vihari is the title finalized for the movie which sounds traditional and spiritual. Krishna and Vrinda are the character names of the lead pair. The title design looks very pleasant.

Naga Shaurya appears in Brahmin getup with niluvu bottu (vertical tilak) and gandham (sandalwood paste) in the first look poster. He can be seen sprinkling water with betel as a part of Hindu religious ritual. Flashes a charming smile, Shaurya fits the bill flawlessly. Overall, the first look poster gives pleasant vibes.

Naga Shaurya plays a first of its kind role in the movie and unlike his roles in his previous movies, he will be seen in an amusing character.

Tipped to be a surpassing family entertainer, the shoot of Krishna Vrinda Vihari is almost done, except for a song. Shirley Setia is the female lead and yesteryear actress Radhika will be seen in an important role. The film also features many comedy actors in prominent roles.

The film is produced by Usha Mulpuri, while Shankar Prasad Mulpuri presents it. Mahati Swara Sagar renders tunes for this film, while Sai Sriram handles cinematography.

The presence of star comedians Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna and Satya assures the film will be high on humor.
