Governor urges all to learn First Aid

Hon’ble Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan has exhorted all the people to learn the First Aid techniques to save precious lives in times of medical emergencies.

She said that there is a need for creating better awareness about the First Aid and challenges like CPR Challenge must be promoted in a big way.

The Governor was speaking at the launch of Training of Master Trainers in the First Aid, organised by the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), at the Raj Bhavan, here, on Tuesday.

Referring to the importance of First Aid awareness, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan said that the Golden Hour is crucial in saving precious lives.

She recounted her experiences in saving lives by offering the First Aid during her journeys including the recent one in midair, when she offered the First Aid during one of her flight journeys.

The Governor also emphasised that it was also important to constantly update the First Aid techniques and hone their skills.

The Governor appreciated the initiative of the IRCS in offering training programme for Master Trainers in the first aid.

A total of 20 participants from different states of the country will be trained as the Master Trainers in First Aid.

The Governor lauded the services extended by the IRCS during the COVID pandemic.

Senior functionaries of the IRCS and senior officers of the Raj Bhavan were present.

Unity in diversity is the strength of our country: Governor









Hon’ble Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan on Tuesday said that our country is endowed with the rich cultural and linguistic diversities and they are contributing for the unity of the country.

‘We have rich cultural and linguistic diversities and yet the soul of India is same from Kashmir to Kanniakumari. We are a proud nation with unity in diversity,” she said.

The Governor was addressing the students from Jammu and Kashmir at the Raj Bhavan, here.

“I am from Kanniakumari. You (students) are from Kashmir. We are meeting in Telangana State. And this itself shows our unity in diversity,” she added.

A total of 35 students of the Army Proud Scholars School, Khundru, of the Jammu and Kashmir State are on a visit to Hyderabad as part of the Student Exchange Programme.

The exchange programme was initiated as part of the Operation Sadhbhavana-2022.

The visiting students also performed a colourful cultural programme that included singing of native Jammu and Kashmir songs and dances at the Durbar Hall of the Raj Bhavan.

Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan appreciated the amazing cultural activities performed by the students.

On the occasion, the Governor paid rich tributes to the services and sacrifices being made by the army personnel in protecting our nation.

The visiting students presented the Governor with a special Tiranga flag.

Nani Released Akasham Movie Trailer






Ashok Selvan is now on his way to dazzle both Telugu and Tamil audiences with his upcoming bilingual Aakaam - Nitham Oru Vaanam. It has promising performers in important roles. Ashok Selvan will play the male lead.


The makers of Aakasam had unveiled its teaser recently which was well received by audience. The team has now come up with its mesmerizing trailer which offers a glimpse into the film's storyline. Natural Star Nani launched the Telugu trailer through Twitter and wished the entire team the best.

The movie revolves around the three life stories Ashok Selvan's character has in his life in different time periods. The actor will be seen sporting three different appearances in the project which is touted as a feel-good romantic drama. Ritu Varma, Aparna Balamurali and Shivathmika play female leads in the film.

How the protagonist goes through a roller-coaster of love, betrayal and other varied emotions forms the crux of the movie. Ashok Selvan and three female leads are ready to dazzle the audience on November 4th.

The visuals and background music of the film stand out in the trailer, and it looks like the team has shot the project in multiple locations, in different states.

Viacom18 Studios and Sreenidhi Sagar have bankrolled Nitham Oru Vaanam which has music by Gopi Sundar and cinematography by Vidhu Ayyanna.

The movie will be released in Tamil under the title Nitham Oru Vaanam and brings Ashok and Ritu for the second time after Theeni (streaming on Zee5) which was released in 2021.

Review on Karthika Deepotsavams





TTD officials are informed to gear up to observe Karthika Deepotsavams in a grand manner by EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.


A review meeting with officials concerned took place at the chambers of EO in the TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati on Friday evening.


Speaking on the occasion the EO said the festival of lights in the holy month of Karthika should be observed at Yaganti in Nandyala on November 7, Vizag on November 14 and before Tiruchanoor Brahmotsavams in Tirupati.


He also reviewed on the arrangements to be made for the mega religious events, commentators to be deployed, facilities for deputation staffs, engineering works to be done etc.

Srinivasa Setu by 31st December - TTD Eo







The pending works related to Srinivasa Setu should be completed by this yead end, said TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.

Reviewing with TTD, Smart City Corporation officials in his chambers' on Friday evening, the EO directed the concerned to speed up the fabricated girders to be laid at Ramanuja Circle. Before that complete the roads, drains, footpaths, medians works, he added.


The EO the works needs to taken up on a fast pace at Ramanuja Circle to Mangoes Market, Kalanjali Showroom, RTC Bus Stand, MS Subbu Lakshmi statue to RTC Bus stand.


Inform the police well in advance to avoid traffic issues while taking construction works in RTC bus stand area, he informed the concerned.

Mechanisation of Boondi Potu Reviewed





A meeting was held on the Mechanisation of Boondi Potu headed by TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Friday.

The EO along with the three-member committee that was constituted to streamline the mechanisation of the Boondi mixture during September last reviewed with various companies on the possibilities of mechanisation in making boondi.


The meeting also discussed in length on the automation of the preparation of sugar syrup, boondi, transportation of flour etc.
