BIRRD Should be in Numero Uno Place inSurgeries - TTD Eo


TTD-run BIRRD Ortho super speciality hospital should stand first in Ortho related disease detection and surgeries, said TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy.

 

Reviewing on BIRRD activities at Sri Padmavathi Rest House in Tirupati, the EO said the hospital should be made into a centre for treating Cerebral Palsy detection and surgeries.

 

He directed the officials concerned to come out with an action plan on men power requirement, area to set up an exclusive ward to treat such cases etc.

 

He later instructed the concerned officials to visit AIIMS to observe the quality of treatment being extended to their patients and implement the same standards in BIRRD also.

 

The EO directed the Engineering Officials to prepare designs to set up a Canteen in BIRRD. He also instructed to take measures to procure required medicines directly from BIRRD instead of enroute through the Chief Medical Officer of TTD.

 

Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, FACAO Sri Balaji, CE Sri Nageswara Rao, RMO Sri Sesha Sailendra, OSD of BIRRD Dr Reddeppa Reddy were also present.

 

Pavitra Purnahuti Performed









The annual Pavitrotsavams concluded with Purnahuti in Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple at Tiruchanoor on Monday.

 

Speaking on the occasion, the TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy said, this annual is performed every year as a sin free festival seeking divine intervention to the commissions and omissions done either knowingly or unknowingly by the religious staff, general staff and even devotees. Hence this festival is also known as Dosha Parihara Utsavam", he maintained.

 

EO said, this festival was observed in adherence to Covid norms. For the sake of devotees, the tickets were released in online and devotees took part in the festival via a virtual platform, he added.

 

JEO Smt Sada Bhargavi, Agama Advisor Sri Srinivasacharyulu, Temple DyEO Smt Kasturi Bai and other temple staff were also present.

 

Principal Secretary and Four Others Takes Oath









The Principal Secretary and the Commissioner of Endowments Department of Andhra Pradesh Smt G Vani Mohan took oath as Ex-officio member of TTD Trust Board in both the capacities in Srivari temple at Tirumala on Monday.

 

The Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy administered the oath of office at Bangaru Vakili. Later she had darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy followed by Vedasirvachanam at Ranganayakula Mandapam. The Additional EO presented her Theertha Prasadams, laminated photo of Srivaru and Coffee Table book. 

 

Sri Jeevan Reddy, Sri M Ramulu, Sri K Rambhupal Reddy, Sri B Lakshminarayana also took oath as TTD Trust Board members in Tirumala on Monday.

 

They were rendered Vedasirvachanam and offered Theertha Prasadams, Srivari Photo and coffee table book by Additional EO.

 

Deputy EOs Sri Ramesh Babu, Sri Lokanatham, Smt Sudharani and others were also present.

 

One-Day Pavitrotsavams Held at Narayana Vanam



One-day annual Pavitrotsavam was held at Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple at Narayanavanam on Monday.  

 

As part of the festivities, Vaidika programmes held in Yagashala in the morning followed by Snapana Tirumanjanam to the utsava deities.

 

Later in the afternoon, Pavitramala Samarpana was held. There will be procession of deities within the temple premises due to Covid restrictions.  

 

Special Grade DyEO Smt Parvati, AEO Sri Durgaraju, Superintendent Sri Ramesh, Temple Inspector Sri Nagaraju and archakas took part.

Pournami Garuda Seva Held at Seven Hills









The monthly Pournami Garuda Seva held with religious fervour in Tirumala on Monday evening.

 

Sri Malayappa Swamy took a celestial ride along four Mada streets to bless His devotees from 7pm onwards.

 

Devotees gathered in galleries to witness the mighty Garuda Vahana Seva.

Forest Firewood Auction on Sealed Covers on 25th September


TTD has called for open auction tender in sealed cover for forest produce of firewood on September 25 at 3.00 pm.

 

It is a general practice of TTD to auction forest firewood on the 7th and 25th of every month. At present the TTD forest department has an overall stock of 132 tons of firewood.
