The great contributions of Sri Rallapalli Ananta Krishna Sharma in bringing out the works of Saint Poet Annamacharya to the public was impeccable said scholars.

The 133rd Jayanti fete of renowned scholar Sri Rallapalli Ananta Krishna Sharma was observed under the aegis of All Dharmic Projects of TTD on Thursday.

Rallapalle holds the credit of having translated the great works of Saint Poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya on the Copper plates and was an expert at both Sangeeta and Sahitya, advocated Smt Rallapalli Deepta, the grand daughter of the late legendary personality.

The 133rd Jayanti fete was held at Annamacharya Kalamandiram in Tirupati on January 23.

Scholars Sri Gouripeddi Venkata Shankara Bhagavan, Sri Sorakayala Krishna Reddy also paid literary tributes on the occasion with their speeches.

Annamacharya Project Director Sri Rajagopal, Program Assistant Smt Kokila and others were also present.

Srivari Kalyanotsavam was held in a grand manner at the mythologically significant place of Chitrakoot at UP in the Uttaradi Ahobila Mutt on Tuesday.

As per sacred texts, Chitrakoot happens to be the place where Sri Rama along with Sita Devi and Lakshmana Swamy stayed for 12years.

After a series of traditional rituals, the celestial marriage was performed to the Utsava deities which immersed devotees in devotion.

HH 1008 Rajguru Peethadhishwar Swamy Badrinath Prasannacharyaji, Estate Officer Sri Gunabhushan Reddy and others were present.

The 25-day lengthiest festival in Tirumala, the Adhyayanotsavams in the temple of Sri Venkateswara Swamy is set to conclude on January 23.

 

Commenced on December 30 last, eleven days prior to Vaikuntah Ekadasi, every day special programs are being conducted at Ranganayakula Mandapam from 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm.

 

On this occasion, Divya Prabandha Pasurams composed by 12 Alwars will be recited by Sri Vaishnava Jeeyangars.

 

On the last day on Thursday, the festival concludes with Tanniramudu fete.

In this SBI sponsored QR Code Machine, the donors can donate up to Rs. One lakh in UPI mode.

His Holiness SRI SRI SRI YADUGIRI YATHIRAJA NARAYANA RAMNUJA JEEYAR, Sri Yadugiri Yathiraja Mutt, Melkote offered in Sri Vari Temple, Tirumala on Wednesday morning. On his arrival at the front of Sri Vari Temple, Addl EO Sri Venkaiah Chowdary and Temple Priests welcomed him with Temple Honors and led him to Sanctum Santorium.

From January 23 onwards, TTD will provide SSD tokens in Tirupati to the devotees coming for darshan of Srivaru on every day basis like before.

The devotees can get these SSD tokens at Bhudevi Complex near Alipiri, Vishnu Nivasam at the Railway Station and Srinivasam counters at Bus Stand like before.
