521st Annamayya Vardhanti in Tirumala on 5th April



TTD is grandly organising the 521st death anniversary of the father of prose poetry Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya on April 5 in Tirumala.

On this occasion, Sri Malayappaswamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi arrive at  Narayangiri Gardens to witness the Saptagiri Sankeertana Gosti Ganjam performed by artists of the Annamacharya project.

Pithapuram Temple Brahmotsvams from 20th to 25th March




TTD is organising the annual Brahmotsavam os Sri Padmavati Sammeta Venkateswara Swami temple, Peethapuram, Kakinada district from March 20-25 with Ankurarpanam fete on March 19 evening.



The celebrations begin with Dwajarohanam at 08,00-8.45 am on March 20 and grand srivari Kalyanotsavam in the evening. Important events include Garuda Vahana Seva on March 21 evening Unjal Sevas at night on March 22,23,24, Chakra snanam on March 25 morning and Dwajaavarohanam in the evening, and finally Pushp yagam on March 26 evening.

Annual Srivari Teppotsavam from 20th to 24th March




TTD is organising the annual  Srivari float festival (Teppotsavam) from March 20-24 with Sri Malayappaswamy and his consort’s blessing devotees during float rides at night in the Swami Pushkarani.

On day 1 Sri Ramachandra Murti along with Sita Lakshmana and Anjaneya will take three round ride while on the second day Sri Krishna swami with Rukmini will ride the decorated teppam three rounds to bless devotees.


Sri Malayappaswamy along with Sri Bhudevi will ride three rounds on third day , five rounds on the fourth day and seven rounds on the final day to bless devotees.


Arjita Sevas cancelled 


In view of Teppotsavam fete TTD has cancelled Sahasra Deepalankara Seva on March 20&21 and Arjita Brahmotsavam  Sahasra Deepalankara Seva on March 22,23,24.

In View on The Election Code no Recommendation Letters for Srivari Darshan and Accomodation in Tirumala




In view of the Election Code, TTD has made certain changes in VIP Darshan and accommodation which has come with immediate effect from Saturday onwards.


Henceforth the letters of recommendation for accommodation and darshan in Tirumala will not be accepted as in the past. However, the Srivari darshan and accommodation will be considered only to the protocol dignitaries who come by themselves as per the rules till the code is over.


In a statement released in the context of the Lok Sabha and Assembly Election Code, the TTD said as per the decision of the TTD Trust Board the letters of recommendation for accommodation and Srivari darshan in Tirumala is cancelled from Saturday onwards.


Therefore, TTD appealed to the devotees and VIPs to take note of this matter and cooperate with the management.

Octopus Mock Drill at Tirumala Srivari Temple






The Octopus force mock drill was conducted at Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple on Friday morning.  They showed how to deal with terrorists and how to protect devotees through a mock drill.


Octopus sleuths conducts annual mock drills at various prominent places, temples and government institutions in the state. 


As part of this, under the supervision of Octopus SP Sri Nagendra Babu, a mock drill was conducted in Srivari Temple under the guidance of Additional SP Sri Nagesh Babu. 


TTD Vigilance and security, civil police, reserve police, temple staff and medical staff were thoroughly briefed on how to act in the event of a terrorist attack.


Tirumala VGO Sri Nanda Kishore, Tirumala DSP Sri Srinivasa Achari, AVSOs, Police, Octopus and officers of various departments participated in this mockdrill operation

TTD JEo Inspects Vontimitta Brahmotsavam Arrangements








As the annual Brahmotsavams in Vontimitta at YSR Kadapa district are scheduled from April 17 to 25 with Ankurarpanam on April 16 and Pushpayagam on March 26, TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam along with other officials inspected the ongoing arrangements for the same.


Speaking on the occasion the JEO said,  with exactly a month left for the big annual fete which is set to commence with Dwajarohanam on April 17 on the auspicious day of Sri Rama Navami, TTD has begun making arrangements for the same.


He said the state festival of Sri Seeta Rama Kalyanotsavam is scheduled on April 22 and arrangements are underway for the big fest.


Earlier he instructed all the authorities concerned to make the necessary arrangements within the stipulated time keeping in view the huge inception of devotees.


CE Sri Nageswara Rao, DyEOs Sri Natesh Babu, Sri Harikrishna, Smt Prasanthi, Sri Gunabhushan Reddy, Sri Shivaprasad, Deputy Conservator of Forest Sri Srinivasulu, local district officials and others were also present.
