Donation of Two Electric Scooters to TTD

Sri Tushar Chaudhary, CEO of Kolkata-based Motovolt donated two electric scooters worth Rs.2.45 lakhs to TTD on Wednesday.

The representatives of Motovolt company handed over the scooter keys to JEO Sri Veerabraham in front of Srivari temple.
Tirumala DI Sri Subrahmanyam also participated in this program.

TTD Eo Holds Meeting with Rice Millers

As a part of enhancing the taste of Annaprasadams,

TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao met with Rice Millers, which supplies the rice to TTD.
The meeting was held in the Conference Hall of the Administrative Building in Tirupati on Wednesday.
The representatives of the Rice Millers' Association from AP and TS participated.
The EO asked the Rice Millers Association leads from both states to give specifications that help enhance rice standards during procurement so that the same might be included while inviting tenders.
While suggesting many parameters that enhance the taste of rice, they also brought to the notice of EO that the cooking equipment in Vengamamba Annaprasadam needs an overhaul as they are over a decade and a half old.
The EO said TTD has already contemplated the same and will soon bring changes in the cooking method.
Both the JEOs Smt Goutami, Sri Veerabrahmam, DyEO Annaprasadam Sri Rajendra Kumar, EE Procurement Sri Murali Krishna, Special Catering Officer Sri Sastry, representatives from AP and Telengana Rice Millers' Association were also present.

e-Auction of Cameras on 1st August

The Cameras offered by devotees in the Srivari Hundi at Tirumala Temple and other TTD-affiliated temples will be e-auctioned through the state government's procurement portal on August 1. 

It includes Nikon, Canon, Kodak and other cameras.
A total of 10 lots of used, partially damaged cameras are being put up for e-auction.

TTD JEo (H&E) Inspects SSD Token Counters in Tirupati

The TTD JEO (Health and Education) Smt Goutami inspected the counters of Slotted Sarva Darshan (SSD), free tokens allotted by TTD for Srivari devotees in Tirupati on Wednesday evening.

On this occasion, the JEO inspected Srinivasam SSD token issuing counters and queue lines. 
Later, she examined the allocation of rooms, SSD token counters and queue lines in Vishnu Nivasam also and made several suggestions to the officials concerned.
The JEO was accompanied by TTD CE Sri Nageswara Rao, Transport GM Sri Sesha Reddy, VGO Sri Bali Reddy, EE Sri Krishna Reddy, Deputy EOs Smt. Parvathi, Smt. Bharti and others.

Pallavotsavam Held

The Birth Anniversary of Maharaja of Mysore was observed with divine fervour with Sri Malayappa flanked by Sridevi and Bhudevi paying a visit to Karnataka Choultries on Wednesday evening in Tirumala.

Popularly known as  Pallavotsavam or Tototsavam, this fete occurs on the advent of Uttarabhadra, the birth star of Maharaja of Mysore every year.
Among the ardent devotees of Sri Venkateswara, Maharaja of Mysore occupies a proud place and has made huge contributions to Tirumala temple that includes different Vahanams, Ivory Pallaki and many more.
TTD has been observing this fete every year as a tribute to the largesse contributed by Maharaja of Mysore. Even the Pallavotsavam is also said to be in vogue for the last three centuries.
On the occasion, after Sahasra Deepalankara Seva, the Utsava deities reached Karnataka Choultries, where the descendants of Maharaja of Mysore gave honours and Harati to the deities.
Temple Peishkar Sri Srihari, Padikavali AEO Sri Mohan Raju, Parupattedar Sri Uma Maheswara Reddy and others were present.


Stringent Action on Contractors for Supplying Adulterated Ghee

The recent measures had yielded results in improving the taste and quality of Srivari Laddus, asserted TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao.

Addressing a media conference at Goluklam Rest House the EO said the contractors were also warned of stringent action for supplying adulterated and low-quality ghee.

He said presently in Tirumala there is no adulteration testing equipment and it is very much needed.

He indicated the hurdles in systems for processing raw materials and ghee through procurement.

He also said a committee of four dairy experts is also constituted comprising of Dr Surendranath, Dr Vijay Bhaskar Reddy, Dr Swarnalatha and Dr Mahadevan who were requested to submit their report within a week.

The committee will also advise on terms and conditions to be included for procuring quality ghee in the tenders.

The EO said the ghee suppliers were directed to supply only quality ghee to TTD and one of the companies which was found supplying adulterated ghee as found in the NABL test report was issued a showcase notice for blacklisting. Another company has also been identified for supplying poor-quality ghee, he maintained.

He cautioned that if the ghee suppliers did not follow the tender conditions and regulations, TTD will take firm action against them.
