₹ 1.5 Cr to Pranandana Trust




Tenali-based Sri Satya Srinivas, CFO of National Steels has donated Rs.1.5 crore to SV Prandana Trust. 


The donor handed over the check to the TTD EO Sri J. Syamala Rao, on Friday at the conference hall in Gokulam Rest House at Tirumala.

Providing Hygienic, Healthy and Affordable Food to Devotees is Our Altimate Goal - TTD Eo






The ultimate goal of TTD is to provide hygienic, healthy and tasty food to the multitude of visiting pilgrims to Tirumala at affordable and reasonable prices and to reach this objective the Food Safety Department authorities will train the TTD Annaprasadam staff, hoteliers and other vendors on Food Safety measures soon, said TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao.


An awareness meeting to the Big and Janata Canteens in Tirumala with the Food Safety Department authorities was held in the presence of TTD EO at the Conference Hall of Gokulam Rest House on Friday. 

The Director of Food Safety Department Sri Purnachandra Rao has given a detailed PowerPoint Presentation on the Food Safety Management System that included the Hygienic and Sanitary practices to be followed in all the restaurants and eateries in Tirumala, Physical-Chemical-Biological Hazards of food spoilage, storing, wastage disposal plan, violation punishments in Food Safety Laws and Acts, training to the hoteliers and workers with Food Safety Training and Certification (FoSTaC) which is a large scale training programme that is very much required for the food business operators and many other related topics.

After the PPP, the EO said, all the Big and Janata Canteens operators will be given to revamp their hotel atmosphere as per the Food Safety Standards till August 5. "All the hotels should display the price list of the recipes without fail. After the given time, if any hotel is found violating the norms, serious action will be initiated", he asserted.

The EO also said, the APTDC-run hotels should enhance the hygiene, quality and quantity of their recipes in such a way that they should be role model to other canteens and hotels in Tirumala. He said, very soon even the small hotel operators and vendors will also be trained on food safety methods by the FSD authorities. "Our ultimate goal is to provide hygienic, healthy and tasty food to the multitude of visiting pilgrims to Tirumala at affordable and reasonable prices", he maintained.

JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, DyEO Health Smt Asha Jyothi, Additional HO Dr Sunil Kumar, DyEO PandR Smt Vijayalakshmi, Catering Special Officer Sri GLN Shastry and others participated.

Among others, Sri Venkateswara Rao, Assistant Food Controller and other FSD representatives, APTDC Divisional Manager Sri Giridhar Reddy, Big and Janata Canteens operators in Tirumala were also present.

TTD Eo Inspects Compartments - Interacts with Pilgrims















TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao inspected the Vaikuntham Queue Complex 1 and 2, to verify the various amenities being provided to the waiting pilgrims in the compartments by TTD till their turn for darshan on Friday evening.


As a part of it, the EO visited different compartments and personally interacted with the devotees about the various facilities. He also inspected the Vaikuntham Dispensary and checked the available medicines. The EO also observed the Srivari Sevaks offering milk to the waiting pilgrims in the compartments.

In his inspection, the EO checked the toilets, presence of attenders to open the compartment gates, function of fans, lights, telephones, SVBC programmes being telecasted on the LED screens and the display of pilgrim information about the release timings of compartments and made a few suggestions to the officials concerned.

Along with the EO, CE Sri Nageswara Rao, SE2 Sri Jagadeeshwar Reddy, DE Electrical Sri Ravishankar Reddy, DyEO Temple Sri Lokanatham and other officials were present. Food Safety Department authorities will train the TTD Annaprasadam staff, hoteliters and other vendors on Food Safety measures soon, said TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao.

For the convenience of SRIVANI donors, he examined an SRIVANI  Trust darshan ticket issuing counter should be set up temporarily at the Adiseshu rest house next to the donor cell and later set up a permanent structure behind the Gokulam rest house.

Later the EO also inspected temple premises, Tirumala Nambi temple, bio-metric point with the officials.

Andal Tiruvadippudi Utsavam from 29th July to 7th August




Sri Andal Ammavari Tiruvadipuram Utsavam will be held from July 29 to August 7 at Tirupati in Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple. As part of this, Thirumanjanam and Asthanam will be performed in the evenings for Sri Andal Ammavaru on these festival days.


On August 7, on the occasion of Sattumora of Sri Andal Ammavaru from 9.30 am to 10.30 am, the Utsava Murthies of Sri Govindaraja Swamy and Sri Andal Ammavaru will be rendered Snapana Tirumanjanam. From 4 pm to 8 pm, the deities will be taken in a procession to Alipiri and a temple court will be held there.

After the special pujas, the procession will return to the temple from Alipiri and Sattumora will be performed in the presence of Sri Andal Ammavaru at 8 pm.

Donation of Two Electric Scooters to TTD





Sri Tushar Chaudhary, CEO of Kolkata-based Motovolt donated two electric scooters worth Rs.2.45 lakhs to TTD on Wednesday.

The representatives of Motovolt company handed over the scooter keys to JEO Sri Veerabraham in front of Srivari temple.
Tirumala DI Sri Subrahmanyam also participated in this program.

TTD Eo Holds Meeting with Rice Millers







As a part of enhancing the taste of Annaprasadams,

TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao met with Rice Millers, which supplies the rice to TTD.
The meeting was held in the Conference Hall of the Administrative Building in Tirupati on Wednesday.
The representatives of the Rice Millers' Association from AP and TS participated.
The EO asked the Rice Millers Association leads from both states to give specifications that help enhance rice standards during procurement so that the same might be included while inviting tenders.
While suggesting many parameters that enhance the taste of rice, they also brought to the notice of EO that the cooking equipment in Vengamamba Annaprasadam needs an overhaul as they are over a decade and a half old.
The EO said TTD has already contemplated the same and will soon bring changes in the cooking method.
Both the JEOs Smt Goutami, Sri Veerabrahmam, DyEO Annaprasadam Sri Rajendra Kumar, EE Procurement Sri Murali Krishna, Special Catering Officer Sri Sastry, representatives from AP and Telengana Rice Millers' Association were also present.
