Motorsport came alive with high octane launch of Formula Regional Indian Championship in Hyderabad


























Hyderabad, August 2021:
  'Formula Regional Indian Championship and Formula 4 Indian Championship' Launched at Madhapur in Hyderabad on sunday. The world-class FIA Grade Street circuit which is to be held in Hyderabad, New Delhi, Chennai, Coimbatore to be held in Feburary 2022 across four cities. 

As part of the curtain-raiser, the F3 street circuit race. was started from the city's iconic cable bridge and concluded at the venue. Witnessed burning tyres and screaming engines, motorsport came alive today with the high octane launch of Formula Regional Indian Championship and Formula 4 Indian Championship. On the occasion Megha Engineering & Infrastructures LTD Chairman P.P. Reddy and M.D Krishna Reddy launched the F3 Car.

Speaking about the Racing Promotions current endeavors Akhilesh Reddy, Chairman, Racing Promotions said, “Monaco being a sovereign city-state has produced F1 drivers, and we as a country of a billion-plus now have the platform to give aspiring racing drivers the opportunity to compete with the best in the world and potentially a stepping stone to the apex of motorsports which is F1”.

Adding that he said, "We committed to investing in the long-term development of motorsports and creating a platform for aspiring racing drivers in India, the first season of racing would kick off on Feb-March 22 in New Delhi, Chennai, Coimbatore and Hyderabad, and attract global racing talents as well."

Navjeet Gadoke, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, RPPL added “Our investment will revolutionize Indian motorsports, and the objective is to build a world-class, holistic ecosystem for motorsports which will become a force to reckon with, not just for this sport, but Indian sports in general.”

Enthusisastic TTD Employees Takes Part in Annaul Sports








Tirupati, 28 Feb. 21: The TTD employees annual sports meet continued enthusiastically at the TTD parade grounds on Sunday.

 

PASSING THE LUGGAGE

 

In the 45+ categories for women, the Kumari Devi team beat the Nirmala team (runner up).

 

TABLE TENNIS

 

In the category of challenged Men singles Reddappa won over Satyam.

 

In the doubles event of the same category, MV Satyam and Reddappa team defeated Ramana and Mani team.

 

In the challenged women singles event, Sunita emerged winner over Madhavi.

 

CHESS

 

In the chess Men singles for challenged persons category Nagraj declared winner while Chandrasekhar stood as runner up.

 

- In the Men chess doubles for best performers Vidyasagar Reddy and Reddappa team emerged winners and Ramana and Mani remained as runners up.

 

- In the women singles chess in same category Gauri defeated MV Prasanna.

 

CARROMS FOR CHALLENGED

 

In the Men's singles Bhaskar stood as winner while Reddappa as runner up.

 

- In the doubles event of the same category Vidyasagar Reddy and Reddappa team were winners while Ramana and Munichandar team declared runners up.

 

VOLLEYBALL

 

In the Men's category event Venkateshwarlu team trounced and Janardan team.

 

CARROMS

 

- In the Ex services Men category Carroms singles Pandurangayya Reddy emerged winner and Sri Jayachander stood runner up.

 

- In the Men's doubles event of same category Anthony Das and Rajaiah Naidu team were declared winners over Pandurangayya Reddy winner and Sri Jayachander team.

 

In the women’s singles event of the same category of Carroms Surekha announced winner over Bharati.

 

Similarly in the women’s doubles event of the same category Prabhavatamma and Surekha were winners over Bharati and Krishnaveni.

Tirupati, 25 Feb. 21: TTD employees enthusiastically participated in the ongoing annual sports meet at the parade grounds on Thursday evening.

 

CARROMS SINGLES

 

In the Carroms Singles event for 45+ women Smt Swapna Manjari won over Smt Rajeshwari who stood as runner up.

 

CARROMS DOUBLE

 

In the Carroms double event for 45+ women the team of Smt Swapna Manjari and Girija Kumari trounced the team of Smt Alekhya and Smt Soujanya (runner up).

Entusiastic Women Employees Participate in TTD Annual Sports




Tirupati, 23 February 2021: As part of its annual sports meet, TTD organised ball badminton for women in the Parade Grounds behind the TTD administrative building on Tuesday noon.

 

In the ball Badminton event for 45+ event Smt G D Selvi team trounced the Smt Lalita team for first and second places respectively.

Games and Sports Commence for Employees







Tirupati, 21 Feb. 21: The annual Sports and Games 2021 commenced for TTD employees on Sunday in the Parade Grounds behind TTD Administrative Building. 

 

In the Tug of War competition, Smt Shanti team stood as winners while the Smt Kalpana team as Runners-up in the 45plus category. 

 

While in the under 45years category Smt Padmaja team emerged winners while the Smt Gangadevi team stood Runners.

Team '83 wishes Kapil Dev on his birthday



On occasion of the birthday of India's cricketing legend Kapil Dev, the team of '83 released a few stills from the sets of the film. Seen in the images are Kapil Dev himself alongside Ranveer Singh, who's all dressed up as Kapil from the 1983 World Cup series. A lot has already been said about the uncanny resemblance he carries in the look.

In one of the images, Kapil is seen re-enacting the now-iconic Nataraj shot, which has been recreated by Ranveer for the film as well.

Directed by Kabir Khan and Touted to be one of the biggest Indian sports films of all time, ’83,  is set to release in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil on April 10, 2020.
