Having made all the right noise after the much-awaited teaser launch, the excitement ahead of Jai Bhim, the upcoming courtroom drama is nothing short of spectacular. The anticipation for the movie is at an all-time high with fans eagerly waiting to see their favorite superstar Suriya and his incredible acting. The creators launched the first song of the movie today, titled Power, written and sung by one of the most renowned artists ARIVU, with the music composed by Sean Roldan. The fast-paced song captures the concept of righteousness and the struggle to achieve equality. The song portrays Suriya in his role of Advocate Chandru who strives for equal treatment and justice for the oppressed. The song is high-on-energy which will surely have your foot tapping and will find a permanent place in your playlist!

Written and directed by Tha. Se. Gnanavel, Jai Bhim is produced by Suriya under his production banner, 2D Entertainment. Starring an ensemble cast of actors like Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh, Rajisha Vijayan, Manikandan and Lijo Mol Jose, Jai Bhim is set to release on Amazon Prime Video, this Diwali in Tamil and Telugu, on 2nd November, 2021 across 240 countries and territories.

ZEE5's Thriller Lock Up to Premiere on Aug 14th

Actor Nitin Sathyaa's second film as producer, Lock Up, which has been garnering a lot of attention ever since its intensely thrilling teaser released, is now all set to release on ZEE5 on August 14.

ZEE5, the largest ConTech brand, has consistently provided viewers with great content across languages and genres. ZEE5’s latest Original film ‘Lock Up’ promises to be a fine, thrilling, edge-of-the-seat experience.

It is no secret that expectations from the film soared ever since news broke out that director Venkat Prabhu will be seen playing a role that he's never been seen in before in the gripping thriller.

Actor Vaibhav plays the lead along with Vani Bhojan in this film, that has been directed by debutant S G Charles. Apart from Vaibhav and Vani, the film will also feature several established actors such as Poorna and Eswari Rao in important roles.

The film, which has been produced by Nitin Sathyaa’a Shvedh- A Nitin Sathyaa Production House, has music by music director Arrol Coreli, an ace when it comes to scoring background music.

Shot by gifted cinematographer Santhanam Sekar, ‘Lock Up’ has been edited by the watchful Anand Gerald, known for his brevity. Anandh Mani is the art director for this film.

Joshua Imai Pol Kaaka Second Single is out!!!

The showers of musical delight arrive as the mellifluous second single from Gautham Vasudev Menon's 'Joshua – Imai Pol Kaaka' has been unveiled. Ever since the first single 'Hey Joshua' was unveiled, it's been a celebration among music lovers for the newfangled tunes and appealing lyrics. With the director himself making an announcement about the second single yesterday (July 15, 2020) by crooning the tunes, the video went viral on all social media hubs. Now the song “Naan Un Joshua” has found a huge positive response instantly for it is written and composed as a reply from protagonist to the romantic solo from his sweetheart (First single track – Hey Love Joshua).

Actor Varun feels elated about the huge response saying, “When a track from Gautham Vasudev Menon sir’s album is released, the excitements are endless and that’s a natural trait, we have observed during all these years. I am extremely happy about the reception for our first single and so for this new single. The song will have visuals packed with some action elements on the lines of ‘Thalli Pogathey’ and ‘Karka Karka’.”

Composed and crooned by playback singer Karthik, Vignesh Shivan has penned the lyrics for this track. Produced by Dr. Ishari K Ganesh for Vels Film International, the film has Varun and Raahei in lead roles. Karthik (Music), S.R. Kathir (Cinematography), Anthony (Editing), Kumar Gangappan (Art), Uthara Menon (Costume Stylist), Yannick Ben (Action), G. Balaji (Colourist), Suren G (Sound Mixing), Hafeez (Dubbing), Koothan & Suren G (Sound Design) are the technicians involved in this film.

Currently, the team has wrapped up 90% shooting and just 10-12 days are pending for the entire project to windup. The initial plans were to shoot the romantic portions in the USA. Nonetheless, with the pandemic COVID 19 crisis still prolonging, the team is planning to shoot those episodes somewhere in North India, once the situations are back to normal.

The pandemic crisis has eventually turned out to be a major barricade for every industry, especially showbiz. With the Government placing some relaxations over the restrictions, it has eased up the situations for few films that had to complete the post-production work. One among them is director Ranjit Jeyakodi’s “Yaarukkum Anjael” starring Bindu Madhavi and Darshana Banik in lead roles. While the team had completed shooting before the COVID 19 issues had popped up, the postproduction work was put on hold eventually due to the ongoing problems. However, the team is happy that the works have resumed with Bindu Madhavi dubbing her portions today. This will be followed by others in the star-cast and the team is keen on completing the postproduction full swing by ensuring that the social distancing and safety precautions as insisted by the Government are followed.

Bankrolled by Devarajalu Markandeyan for Third Eye Entertainment, the film revolves around siblings (played by Bindu Madhavi and Darshana Banik), who face some life-threatening encounters on reaching Ooty from abroad to sell their ancestral property and how they combat the hazardous situation. The entire shooting of this film was completed in a span of 30 days in Ooty amidst challenging climatic conditions.
