Grand Floral Palaquin Procession of Sri Malayappa Swamy

On the auspicious occasion of Salakatla Anivara Asthanam, the sacred Pushpa Pallaki Seva was conducted in a grand manner at the Tirumala temple on Wednesday evening.

Sri Malayappa Swamy, flanked by His consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi, graced the devotees by parading along the four Mada Streets of the temple town, seated majestically on a beautifully decorated palanquin made entirely of various types of fragrant and colourful flowers.

TTD Chairman Sri B.R. Naidu, Board Member Smt. Panabaka Lakshmi, Additional EO Sri C.H. Venkaiah Chowdary, Temple Deputy EO Sri Lokanatham, Peishkar Sri Sri Rama Krishna, and other temple officials participated in this spiritually vibrant event.

Sare to Srivaru from Srirangam

On the auspicious occasion of the Anivara Asthanam, Pattu clothes were offered to Sri Ranganatha Swamy temple of Srirangam, the famous Sri Vaishnava pilgrimage centre in Tamil Nadu, on Wednesday.

Special pujas were performed to the Sare at the Tirumala Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy Mutt, adjacent to the Sri Bedi Anjaneyaswamy Temple.

From there, Tirumala Sri Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy, Tirumala Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, TTD Chairman Sri BR Naidu, EO Sri J. Syamala Rao, and Tamil Nadu Endowment Department Secretary Sri Sridharan took the silk vastrams to the temple in a procession along four Mada streets, and later offered to the presiding deity.

Tamil Nadu Endowments Department Additional Secretary Manivasagam, Srirangam Temple Joint Commissioner Sri Sivaram Kumar, Temple Chief Priest Sri Sundara Bhattar and others participated in the program.

Anivara Asthanam held with Religious Fervour at Tirumala Temple

The annual Anivara Asthanam was performed with religious fervour at Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirumala on Wednesday.

The event was attended by HH Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy, HH Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, TTD Chairman Sri B.R. Naidu, EO Sri J. Syamala Rao and board members.

From 7AM to 9 AM, Sri Malayappa Swamy along with His consorts Sri and Bhu Devis, seated in the Ghanta Mandapam on Sarvabhoopala Vahanam, facing Garudalwar while. Sri Viswaksena, the Chief Commander was placed facing south.

Special pujas were performed to both Moolavirat and Utsava Murthies.

Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyar carried six Pattu garments in a procession over his head on a plate and offered four to the Moolavirat, one each to Malayappa Swamy and Sri Vishwaksena.

The temple priest performed rituals including Parivattam, lachchana, and traditional offerings.

The ceremony concluded by placing the lachchana at the holy feet of Sri Venkateswara Swamy.

In the evening, the deities will bless devotees in a floral palanquin-the Pushpa Pallaki.

TTD Board Members Smt. Panabaka Lakshmi, Sri Bhanu Prakash Reddy, Sri Naresh Kumar, Sri Shanta Ram, Sri Sadasiva Rao, Sri Janga Krishnamurthy, Smt. Janaki Devi, Sri Mahender Reddy participated.

Among others TTD Additional EO Sri Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary, Deputy EO Sri Lokanatham, and other senior officials were also present in this religious annual ceremony.
