Pavitrotsavams at Sri Chennakeshava Swamy Vari Temple, Thallapaka from 28th to 30th Aug

 




The annual Pavithrotsavams will be observed with religious fervour at Sri Chennakesava Swamy Temple in Tallapaka, Annamayya district, from August 28 to 30, 2025.


As part of the festivities, Punyahavachanam, Rakshabandhanam, Mritsangrahanam, and Ankurarpanam will be performed on August 27.

To protect the sanctity of the temple and atone for any lapses or omissions committed unknowingly by devotees or temple staff during the course of the year, the Pavithrotsavams are conducted every year for three days. Rituals like purification, Punyahavachanam, and other sacred ceremonies are performed as part of the festival.

On August 28, at 9 a.m., Yagashala Puja, Chatushtarchana, Bimba, Mandala, Kumbha Aradhanas, and Pavitra Pratishtha will be held, followed by Pavitra Homams at 6 p.m.

On August 29, at 9 a.m., Vedic rituals in Yagashala including Pavitra Samarpana to the presiding deity, Utsava Murthies, and Parivara Devatas will be performed, followed by Nitya Homams at 6 p.m.

On August 30, at 6 a.m., Pavitra Visarjana, Pavitra Jala Prokshanam, Maha Poornahuti, Pavitra Vitarana will be observed, and at 6 p.m., the grand procession of the Utsava Murthies of Sri Chennakesava Swamy and Ammavaru will take place.


On this occasion, Harikathas and music programs will also be organized under the aegis of TTD’s Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad and Annamacharya Project.

అన్నమయ్య జిల్లా తాళ్లపాకలోని శ్రీ చెన్నకేశ‌వ స్వామివారి ఆలయంలో ఆగష్టు 28 నుండి 30వ తేదీ వరకు పవిత్రోత్సవాలు ఘనంగా జరుగనున్నాయి. పవిత్రోత్సవాల‌కు ఆగష్టు 27న పుణ్యాహవచనం, ర‌క్షాబంధ‌నం,   మృత్సంగ్రహణం,  అంకురార్పణ నిర్వహిస్తారు.


యాత్రీకుల వల్లగానీ, సిబ్బంది వల్ల గానీ తెలియక జరిగే దోషాల వల్ల ఆలయ పవిత్రతకు ఎలాంటి లోపం రానీయకుండా నివారించేందుకు ప్రతి ఏడాదీ మూడు రోజుల పాటు పవిత్రోత్సవాలు నిర్వహించడం ఆనవాయితీగా వస్తోంది. ఈ పవిత్రోత్సవాలలో ఆలయ శుద్ధి, పుణ్యాహవచనం వంటి కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహిస్తారు.

ఆగష్టు 28న ఉద‌యం 9 గంట‌ల‌కు యాగశాల పూజ, చ‌తుష్టార్చ‌న‌, బింబ‌, మండ‌ల‌, కుంభ ఆరాధ‌న‌లు, ప‌విత్ర ప్ర‌తిష్ట‌, సాయంత్రం 6 గంట‌ల‌కు ప‌విత్ర‌హోమాలు జ‌రుగ‌నున్నాయి.

ఆగ‌స్టు 29న ఉద‌యం 9 గంట‌ల‌కు యాగ‌శాల‌లో వైదిక కార్య‌క్ర‌మాలు, మూల‌వ‌ర్ల‌కు, ఉత్స‌వ‌ర్ల‌కు, ప‌రివార దేవ‌తాల‌కు ప‌విత్ర స‌మ‌ర్ప‌ణ, సాయంత్రం 6 గంట‌ల‌కు నిత్య హోమాలు నిర్వ‌హిస్తారు.  

ఆగష్టు 30న ఉద‌యం 6 గంట‌ల‌కు పవిత్ర విస‌ర్జ‌న‌, ప‌విత్ర జ‌ల ప్రోక్ష‌ణ‌, మహా పూర్ణాహుతి, పవిత్ర వితరణ, సాయంత్రం 6 గంట‌ల‌కు స్వామి, అమ్మవార్ల ఉత్సవమూర్తుల ఊరేగింపు జరుగనున్నాయి.

ఈ సందర్భంగా టీటీడీ హిందూ ధర్మప్రచార పరిషత్‌, అన్నమాచార్య ప్రాజెక్టు ఆధ్వర్యంలో హరికథలు, సంగీత కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహిస్తారు.

1052nd AvataraMahotsavam of Sri Tirumala Nambi on 30th and 31st August

 




The 1052nd Avatara Mahotsavam of the eminent Vaishnava Acharya, Sri Tirumalanambi, will be grandly observed on August 30 and 31 at the Sri Tirumalanambi Temple located in the South Mada Street of Tirumala.


As part of the celebrations, 16 eminent scholars will deliver discourses on the life history of Sri Tirumalanambi in the temple premises.

Sri Tirumalanambi, one of the foremost devotees of Sri Venkateswara, is credited with initiating the sacred service of offering theertha kainkaryam to శ్రీ Venkateshwara. He was both the maternal uncle and revered guru of Bhagavad Ramanujacharya. According to the scriptures, he also recited the Ramayana to Sri Ramanuja.

ప్రముఖ వైష్ణవాచార్యులు శ్రీ తిరుమలనంబి 1052వ అవతార మహోత్సవాన్ని ఆగస్టు 30, 31వ తేదీల్లో తిరుమలలోని దక్షిణ మాడ వీధిలో గల శ్రీ తిరుమలనంబి ఆలయంలో ఘనంగా నిర్వ‌హించ‌నున్నారు.


ఇందులో భాగంగా శ్రీ తిరుమలనంబి ఆలయంలో 16 మంది ప్ర‌ముఖ పండితులు శ్రీ తిరుమ‌ల నంబి జీవిత చ‌రిత్ర‌పై ఉప‌న్య‌సించ‌నున్నారు.

శ్రీవారి భక్తాగ్రేసరులలో ఒకరైన శ్రీ తిరుమలనంబి శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వరస్వామివారికి తీర్థ కైంకర్యం ప్రారంభించారు. వీరు భగవద్రామానుజుల వారికి స్వయాన మేనమామ, గురుతుల్యులు. వీరు రామానుజుల వారికి రామాయణ పఠనం చేశారని పురాణాల ద్వారా తెలుస్తోంది.

ఆచార్య పురుషుడిగా ప్రసిద్ధిగాంచిన శ్రీ తిరుమలనంబికి సంబంధించిన ఒక కథ ప్రచారంలో ఉంది. తిరుమలనంబి శ్రీవేంకటేశ్వర‌స్వామివారి అభిషేకానికి సంబంధించిన పవిత్రజలాలను తిరుమల ఆలయానికి 8 కి.మీ దూరంలో ఉన్న పాపవినాశ‌నం తీర్థం నుండి తీసుకొచ్చేవారు. ఒకరోజు ఆయన పాపవినాశనం నుండి నీటిని కుండలో తీసుకొస్తుండగా సాక్షాత్తు శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వరస్వామివారు తిరుమలనంబి భక్తిని పరీక్షించాలని భావించి ఒక వేటగాని రూపంలో వచ్చి దాహంగా ఉందని, తాగడానికి నీళ్లు కావాలని ఆడిగారు. ఈ పవిత్రజలాలు స్వామివారి ఆభిషేకం కోసమని చెప్పి ఇచ్చేందుకు తిరుమలనంబి తిరస్కరించారు. అంతట వేటగాని రూపంలో ఉన్న స్వామివారు రాయి విసిరి కుండకు చిల్లుచేసి నీరు తాగారు.

అందుకు తిరుమలనంబి బాధపడుతూ ”వయోభారం కారణంగా నేను తిరిగి అంతదూరం పాపవినాశనం వెళ్లి స్వామివారికి అభిషేకజలం తీసుకురావడం సాధ్యంకాదు, ఈ రోజు నేను స్వామివారికి అభిషేకం చేయలేకపోతున్నా” అని దు:ఖించారు. అంతలో వేటగాని రూపంలో ఉన్న స్వామివారు ”చింతించకు తాతా నేను నీ పూజకు తప్పకుండా సహాయం చేస్తా” అని తెలిపి తన చేతిలోని విల్లును ఆకాశంలోనికి ఎక్కుపెట్టి బాణం వదిలారు. వెంటనే వినీలాకాశం నుండి ఉరుకుతూ నీటిధార భూమికి వచ్చింది. ”ఇకపై ఈ జలాన్నే నా అభిషేకానికి వినియోగించు” అని ఆ వేటగాని రూపంలో ఉన్న స్వామివారు అదృశ్యమయ్యారు. అప్పుడు తిరుమలనంబి సాక్షాత్తు స్వామివారే బాలుని రూపంలో ప్రత్యక్షమయ్యారని గ్రహించారు. ఆనాటి నుండి నేటి వరకు ఈ తీర్థాన్నే స్వామివారి అభిషేకానికి వినియోగిస్తున్నారు. ఆకాశం నుండి వచ్చినందువల్ల ఈ తీర్థానికి ఆకాశగంగ అని నామధేయం ఏర్పడింది.

Forgotten Belongings Returned to Devotees

 




In Tirumala, the TTD staff returned a purse, a gold bracelet weighing 12 grams worth Rs. 1.10 lakh, and a wristwatch that were left behind in a room at Krishna Sadan Rest House by a devotee, Sri Kalluri Venkata Subbarao from Prakasam district, on Thursday.


On this occasion, the devotee expressed his gratitude to Sri Mahidhar Reddy, who works as an attendant at Krishna Sadan.

Sri Padmavathi Enquiry Office Superintendent Sri Vijay Kumar along with other staff, participated in this program.

అమరావతి ఎస్వీ ఆలయంలో పూర్ణాహుతితో ముగిసిన పవిత్రోత్సవాలు amaravati temple

 




అమరావతి (వేంకటపాలెం) శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వరస్వామివారి ఆలయంలో పవిత్రోత్సవాలు గురువారం రాత్రి పూర్ణాహుతితో ఘనంగా ముగియనున్నాయి.


ఇందులో భాగంగా ఉదయం స్వామివారిని సుప్రభాతంతో మేల్కొలిపి తోమాల, సహస్రనామార్చన, కొలువు, పంచాంగ శ్ర‌వ‌ణం నిర్వహించారు. అనంత‌రం యాగ‌శాల‌లో వైదిక కార్య‌క్ర‌మాలు జ‌రిగాయి. ఈ సందర్భంగా శ్రీదేవి, భూదేవి స‌మేత శ్రీ వేంక‌టేశ్వ‌ర‌స్వామివారి ఉత్స‌వ‌ర్ల‌కు స్నపనతిరుమంజనం వేడుకగా జరిగింది. ఇందులో ఉత్సవమూర్తులకు పాలు, పెరుగు, తేనె, కొబ్బరినీళ్లు, ప‌సుపు, చందనంల‌తో విశేషంగా అభిషేకం చేశారు.

సాయంత్రం యాగశాల వైదిక కార్యక్రమాలు, పూర్ణాహుతి, కుంభ ప్రదక్షిణ, కుంభ సమర్పణం, విశేష ఆరాధన, రుత్వికులకు బహుమానం,  పవిత్రోత్సవాలతో ముగియ‌నున్నాయి.

ఈ కార్య‌క్ర‌మంలో సూప‌రింటెండెంట్ శ్రీ మ‌ల్లికార్జున‌, టెంపుల్ ఇన్స్పెక్ట‌ర్లు శ్రీ రామ‌కృష్ణ‌, శ్రీ సందీప్‌, ఆల‌య అర్చ‌కులు, విశేష సంఖ్య‌లో భ‌క్తులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

Grand Conclusion of Sangopanga Sri Srinivasa Vishwashanti Maha Yagam with Poornahuti

 





The four-day-long Sangopanga Sri Srinivasa Vishwashanti Mahayagam, conducted at the Sri Venkateswara Veda Vignana Peetham in Dharmagiri, Tirumala, concluded grandly on Wednesday with the sacred ritual of Poornahuti. The Mahayagam was organized seeking the prosperity, health, and well-being of devotees.

In the presence of 32 Vedic scholars, the Yagam featured Vedic recitations, Sundarakanda Parayanam, and several other Vedic rituals.

Speaking on the occasion, TTD EO Sri J. Syamala Rao said that the Sangopanga Sri Srinivasa Vishwashanti Mahayagam had concluded successfully in a highly divine manner. He further stated that TTD has resolved to organize Vishwashanti Yagams and Havanams across various regions of the country and that these programs will commence very soon.

The event was attended by TTD Additional EO Sri C.H. Venkaiah Chowdary, Principal of SV Veda Vignana Peetham, Sri Kuppa Shiva Subrahmanya Avadhani, along with other officials and temple priests.
