Annamayy's Sankirtana LIterature- Inspirational Treasure Generations-TTD Puranic and Historical Projects Special Officers Krishna Murthy

 





The Sankirtanas of Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya are an invaluable literary treasure that inspires generations with their unique blend of devotion, philosophy, and human values, said Sri Krishnamurthy, Special Officer of the TTD Puranic and Historical Projects.


As part of the 523rd death anniversary celebrations of Annamayya, literary seminars commenced grandly on Monday at the Annamacharya Kalamandiram in Tirupati.


Speaking on the topic “The Poetic Charm of Annamayya”, Sri Krishnamurthy said that the poetry of Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya holds a distinguished place in Telugu literature due to its sweetness, simplicity, and depth of emotion. He explained that Annamayya’s compositions harmoniously combine devotional fervour with poetic beauty, simple language, melodious rhythm, and profound spiritual philosophy. The expressive use of words, poetic embellishments, and a structure well suited to music are the defining features of the aesthetic charm of Annamayya’s poetry.


Later, Acharya Nirmala from Vijayawada, speaking on “The Literary Grandeur of Annamayya”, described Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya as a great poet who earned an immortal place in Telugu devotional literature. She noted that the thousands of Sankirtanas he composed in praise of Lord Venkateswara reflect devotion, philosophy, human values, and social awareness in a harmonious manner. His compositions beautifully portray life truths and moral values along with deep devotion.


Subsequently, retired professor Acharya Sarvottama Rao from Sri Venkateswara University, speaking on “Human Relationships in Annamayya’s Sankirtanas”, observed that Annamayya’s compositions vividly portray various human relationships such as the bond between mother and child, love between husband and wife, the relationship between guru and disciple, and the connection between devotee and the divine. He added that the values of affection, compassion, and kindness seen in everyday life are effectively conveyed through Annamayya’s compositions. Therefore, Annamayya’s Sankirtanas are not merely devotional songs but literary gems that reflect the beauty of human relationships.


Later, Dr. Subrahmanyam from Tirupati delivered a lecture on “Annamayya as a Socially Conscious Poet.”


In the evening, a musical concert by Sri Ranganath’s troupe from Tirupati will be held from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a Veena recital by Smt. Prasanthi’s troupe from Visakhapatnam from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.


Annamacharya Project Special Officer Sri Medasani Mohan, Director Smt. Latha, other officials, and members of the public attended the programme.

ఒంటిమిట్ట శ్రీ కోదండరామ స్వామి వారి దర్శనార్థం వచ్చే భక్తులకు నిరంతరాయంగా అన్నప్రసాదాలు పంపిణి చేస్తామని టిటిడి ఛైర్మెన్ శ్రీ బీఆర్ నాయుడు వెల్లడించారు. ఒంటిమిట్టలోని పరిపాలనా భవనంలో ఆయన సోమవారం మీడియాతో మాట్లాడారు.


మీడియాతో మాట్లాడిన ముఖ్యాంశాలు


ఈ సందర్భంగా మాట్లాడుతూ ఒంటిమిట్టలో శ్రీకోదండ రామస్వామిబ్రహ్మోత్సవాలు ఈనెల 27వ తేదీ నుండి ఏప్రిల్ 5 తేదీ వరకు 9 రోజులు పాటు వైభవంగా నిర్వహిస్తామన్నారు.

- రాష్ట్ర విభజన అనంతరం శ్రీరామనవమి ఉత్సవాలు ఒంటిమిట్టలో రాష్ట్ర పండుగ నిర్వహిస్తున్నాం

- టిటిడి ఆధ్వర్యంలో 2016 నుంచి శ్రీరామ నవమి ఉత్సవాలు శ్రీ రాముల వారి కళ్యాణం నిర్వహిస్తున్నాం.

 - 14వ శతాబ్దంలో ఆలయ నిర్మాణం ప్రారంభమై 17వ శతాబ్దంలో ముగిసిందని శాసనాలు చెబుతున్నాయి

- క్రీ. శ 1356లో బుక్కరాయలు ఈ ఆలయాన్ని నిర్మాణం ప్రారంభించారు

- విజయనగర రాజులు అంతరాలయము ,రంగ మండపం ,మహా ప్రాంగణం గోపురం నిర్మించారు

 

ఏప్రిల్ 1 తేదీ సీతారాముల కల్యాణానికి విస్తృత ఏర్పాట్లు  

- రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం తరఫున  ముఖ్యమంత్రి గౌరవ శ్రీ నారా చంద్రబాబునాయుడు పట్టు వస్త్రాలు సమర్పిస్తారు

- శ్రీ సీతారాముల కల్యాణానికి విచ్చేసేభక్తులకు ఉచితంగా రూ. 50  విలువగల శ్రీవారి  లడ్డు ప్రసాదాన్ని అందిస్తాం.

- భక్తులకు అన్నప్రసాదాలు త్రాగు నీరు, మజ్జిగ ప్యాకెట్లు పంపిణి చేస్తాం.

 - జిల్లా అధికారులు,  టిటిడి సమన్వయంతో బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల ఏర్పాట్లు చేస్తున్నాం.  

- శ్రీ సీతారాముల కళ్యాణాన్ని ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా వీక్షించడానికి ఎస్వీబీసీ ద్వారా ప్రత్యక్ష ప్రసారాలు అందిస్తాం.

- రూ. 4 కోట్ల రూపాయలతో విద్యుత్ దీపాలంకరణ ఎల్ఈడి , పబ్లిక్ అడ్రస్ సిస్టం ఏర్పాటు

- రూ. 20. 17 కోట్లతో 108 అడుగుల జాంబవంతుడు విగ్రహం నిర్మించేలా చర్యలు చేపడుతున్నాం

- మాస్టర్ ప్లాన్ లో భాగంలో 37 కోట్లతో 100 గదులు నిర్మిస్తున్నాం

- ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ నారా చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు ఆదేశాలతో ఈరోజు నుంచి ఒంటిమిట్టలో భక్తులకు మూడు పూటలా అన్నప్రసాదాలు అందిస్తున్నాం.

ఒంటిమిట్టలోని శ్రీ కోదండరామాలయానికి ఎదురుగా ఏర్పాటు చేసిన అన్నప్రసాద వితరణ కేంద్రాన్ని టిటిడి ఛైర్మెన్ శ్రీ బీఆర్ నాయుడు ప్రారంభించారు. గత ఏడాది శ్రీ సీతారాముల కల్యాణోత్సవం సందర్భంగా ఒంటిమిట్టకు విచ్చేసే భక్తులకు అన్నప్రసాదాలను నిరంతరంగా అందించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ నారా చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు ఇచ్చిన సూచనల మేరకు అన్నప్రసాద కేంద్రాన్ని ప్రారంభించామన్నారు. భక్తులకు అన్నప్రసాదాలను అందించేందుకు జర్మన్  షెడ్ ను ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. అందులో భక్తులు కూర్చుని అన్నప్రసాదాలు స్వీకరించేలా ఏర్పాట్లు చేశారు.

అంతకుముందు శ్రీ కోదండరామ స్వామి వారి ఆలయంలో స్వామివారిని టిటిడి ఛైర్మెన్ శ్రీ బీఆర్ నాయుడు దర్శించుకున్నారు. ఆలయం వద్దకు రాగానే ఆలయ అధికారులు, అర్చకులు ఘన  స్వాగతం పలికారు. దర్శనానంతరం టిటిడి ఛైర్మెన్ కు తీర్థప్రసాదాలను అందించారు.

ఏఫ్రిల్ 1న జరుగనున్న శ్రీ సీతారాముల కల్యాణోత్సవానికి చేస్తున్న ఏర్పాట్లను టిటిడి ఛైర్మెన్ పరిశీలించారు. భక్తులకు సౌకర్యవంతంగా ఏర్పాట్లు చేపట్టాలని ఆయన అధికారులకు సూచించారు.  కల్యాణ వేదిక ప్రవేశ, నిష్క్రమణ మార్గాలు, భద్రతా, అన్నప్రసాదాల పంపిణీ, కల్యాణాన్ని భక్తులు ఆనందంగా వీక్షించేలా ఏర్పాట్లు చేపట్టాలని సూచించారు.


ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ డా.చెరుకూరి శ్రీధర్, అడిషనల్ ఈవో శ్రీ సిహెచ్ వెంకయ్య చౌదరి, ఎస్పీ శ్రీ షెల్కె నచికేత్ విశ్వనాథ్, జేఈవో శ్రీ వి వీరబ్రహ్మం, సివీఎస్వో శ్రీ కే వి మురళీకృష్ణ, పలువురు అధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు. 

Potti Sriramulu Sacrificed His Life for the Formation of Telugu States: Dr Aravind Kumar

 






Dr. Aravind Kumar, Professor from the Department of History at Dravidian University, said that Amarajeevi Sri Potti Sriramulu sacrificed his life through a fast for the self-respect of the Telugu people.


The 125th birth anniversary of Sri Potti Sriramulu was observed in a grand manner on Monday at the Annamacharya Kalamandiram in Tirupati.


Speaking on the occasion as a guest speaker, Dr. Aravind Kumar said that Sri Potti Sriramulu was inspired by the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi and worked for the welfare of the weaker sections of society. He said that those who dedicate their lives for the welfare of others become true leaders, and Sri Potti Sriramulu is a great example of such leadership.


He further said that Sri Potti Sriramulu had a strong determination to fight for the self-respect of the Telugu people.


 Keeping the importance of the Telugu language in mind, he continued his struggle through non-violent means for the formation of linguistic states.


He also explained that Sri Potti Sriramulu began his fast unto death at the residence of Sri Bulusu Sambamurthy on Royapettah Road in Chennai and continued his fast with determination until he sacrificed his life.


Later, several TTD employees also spoke on the occasion. Before the programme, the guests paid floral tributes to the portrait of Sri Potti Sriramulu.


The programme was held under the chairmanship of Welfare Department Deputy Executive Officer Sri Anandaraju. TTD employees and students participated in the event.

తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల ఆవిర్భావానికి ప్రాణత్యాగం చేసిన మహనీయుడు పొట్టి శ్రీరాములు : డా. అరవింద్ కుమార్ potti sriramulu

 






తెలుగు ప్రజల ఆత్మగౌరవం కోసం నిరాహార దీక్ష చేసి ప్రాణాలర్పించిన మహనీయుడు అమరజీవి శ్రీ పొట్టి శ్రీరాములు అని ద్రావిడియన్ విశ్వవిద్యాలయం చరిత్ర విభాగం ఆచార్యులు డా. అరవింద్ కుమార్ కొనియాడారు.


తిరుపతిలోని అన్నమాచార్య కళామందిరంలో సోమవారం శ్రీ పొట్టి శ్రీరాములు 125వ జయంతి కార్యక్రమాన్ని ఘనంగా నిర్వహించారు.


ఈ సందర్భంగా ఉపన్యాసకులుగా విచ్చేసిన డా. అరవింద్ కుమార్ మాట్లాడుతూ, శ్రీ పొట్టి శ్రీరాములు మహాత్మా గాంధీ సిద్ధాంతాలకు ఆకర్షితుడై అణగారిన వర్గాల అభ్యున్నతికి కృషి చేశారని తెలిపారు. ఇతరుల కోసం తమ జీవితాన్ని ఫణంగా పెట్టి పోరాడేవారే నిజమైన నాయకులుగా నిలుస్తారని, ఇందుకు శ్రీ పొట్టి శ్రీరాములు గొప్ప ఉదాహరణగా నిలిచారని చెప్పారు.


ఆంధ్రుల ఆత్మగౌరవం కోసం ఎంతవరకైనా వెళ్లాలన్న ఆయన దృఢ సంకల్పం ఎంతో గొప్పదని పేర్కొన్నారు. తెలుగు భాష ప్రాముఖ్యతను దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని భాషా ప్రయుక్త రాష్ట్రాల ఏర్పాటుకు అహింసా మార్గంలో ఆయన పోరాటాన్ని కొనసాగించారని వివరించారు. చెన్నైలోని రాయపేట రోడ్డులో గల శ్రీ బులుసు సాంబమూర్తి నివాసంలో నిరాహార దీక్ష ప్రారంభించి, పట్టుదలతో దీక్షను కొనసాగించి చివరకు ప్రాణత్యాగం చేశారని తెలిపారు.


అనంతరం పలువురు టీటీడీ ఉద్యోగులు ప్రసంగించారు. కార్యక్రమానికి ముందు అతిథులు శ్రీ పొట్టి శ్రీరాములు చిత్రపటానికి పుష్పాంజలి ఘటించారు.


సంక్షేమ విభాగం డెప్యూటీ ఈవో శ్రీ ఆనందరాజు అధ్యక్షతన జరిగిన ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో టీటీడీ ఉద్యోగులు, విద్యార్థులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
